So you dig up a book from some old dead white guy. An economist from the past. You post a list. The list doesn't make sense in the context of the US, which you claim it does. Then say the list can't make sense to me unless I read the book. Umm well its a list, it should stand on its own. You post this on a pot forum and tell the reader to put down the bong. Who is high here? Cranky crank crank
I wont add any of my own thoughts, Ill let others judge your general awareness . I got to put you on ignore dude.

Not the whole list, no. Some of it. You can make any argument you want when you can pick and choose your facts. Life was proven on Mars you know and NASA didn't make a moon landing and your list represents the US. Crankity crank crank

I stopped logging during the DM course too rofl. I don't even know how many dives I have. 300 - 320 I think. Give or take a dozen. Kinda conservative estimate though.
I started diving in 1970. I kind of wish that I'd logged my dives. Counting back I'm guess somewhere north of 1000 dives. Scuba and a lot of free dives off Mendocino and off the San Mateo coast in CA, where I grew up spearfishing and abalone diving whenever I could. Of all the places that I've heard or seen pictures of, the Galapagos is the most intriguing to me. Its on my bucket list for sure.

Same here. Isla Coiba, in Panama, from what I hear is very comparable to Galapagos but far cheaper overall. Probably not as good, but then again, well, they're aloud to do a lot of fishing in Galapagos...

I'll leave it at that so as not to bum you out.
