Hey Puff, She's about 2 foot tall... and she is gorgeous!! one of the nicest plant i have grown in a while. I can't wait to photo-shoot her at harvest.



SpaceGrin Day51 ... not much longer ... however I will probably wait until 50% amber.


ZionEaze, was showing sex around Sept.12 when i pulled the other 2 that were in the same container, she is 12/12 from seed and probably around day 60 flowering ... she is coming down sometime this week!! I will try to reveg that baby too because not only does she matures quickly but the buds are going to have a nice bag appeal, nice size, dense, and the smell is going to be a mix of fruit and cheese funk ... i have not spent too much time smelling her because she is on the back row and I can't really get to her, but I know the smell will be strong in the jar!!


Cheese, I topped the colas way early in budding because she was too tall, she will yield ok all nugs on her are golf size nugs.


Shark, I found one nanner on 2 of them Shark, I am worry about mold with this strain, buds simply have the moldy look hehe. anyway fingers are crossed!!I dont think this cut will be around for very long but we'll see how she smoke first! She has a nice smell of mango and fruit.

uhmm.. looks good.. funny but nice look the foxtailed one..

A picture update, a few plants are schedule to come down within the next week.

Respect will go for another full week.. ( remember, one bud is seeded with CHEMO! )

Everything is going well... I am trying to be patient until I see amber on most of them before chop chop ... but in my experience, I could chop a lot of them right now and it would be fine.

Here's something I snipped from a paper (2012) about "laser microdissected trichomes".

id like to see the same test ran with heads of capitate stalked trichomes at different level of ripening like the same strain with clear trichomes, milky, amber. To really see what amount of THC or CBD u might be missing out if harvesting too late/early!! thanks for posting!

That's exactly the kind of paper I was looking for when I found the one previous.
However, I think it is safe to assume they are getting more clear trichs on the week 4-6 samples...
But are the 7&8 week samples milky or amber? They didn't seem to mention in the paper...
However, If I find something with more detail re:Milky/Amber trichs, I'll let you know.

RESPECT , I took pics of the plants AFTER cutting down the colas, ... what happened is I was looking for my seeds and I got worry about mold, I didnt see any but the buds were feeling like they were gonna go to mush. I COULDNT FIND ANY SEEDS!!? like the pollination didnt work or the seeds are well hidden in the fat buds. Anyway, I chopped the colas thinking I would let the plant go a little longer but then I realised she was pretty much ready anyway .. around day 63-64. So the first pics is the pic of the plant taken WITHOUT the colas, the colas are on the rack and some pieces of buds drying elsewhere.


The total yield is basically everything you see on the rack (some small buds not shown on pics, basically from the breaking the buds apart looking for seeds!) Look at the size of the buds!! They were all like golf size nugs!


So Anyway I will def. keep the colas for myself in case I come across some seeds (fingers crossed!) I was so looking forward for this cross and I dont get it because the hairs receded after pollination occur and everything look like it was going to work out. I should have identified the branch anyway now I didnt want to mess around with all the buds.

Enough of that anyway she has proven once again why she is one of my keeper, so oily, so stinky, so resinous, such hard dense nugs, she'll be around for a while unless I fuck up because I aint getting rid of her!! RESPECT!!

Shark ... this one is in a 5 gals smart pot and only a few days away from harvest.


SpaceGrin sugar leaf, nothing special about it, it was on some lower buds and not particularly frosty but the pics is good quality and the trichs well defined.


Today going in the budroom is another zioneaze and a revolution ... I didnt take a clone of the revolution I hope I dont beat myself up later. Both plants ready to take off!! I can barely keep up right now, I was hoping to veg my plants a little longer but I keep having to move them to budroom before they get as big as I want them to be. I am hoping around Christmas I can move some big plants in the bud room, def. a big pennywise and a big senora ampero (1 fem seed...)

When you say "wait for ambers", is there a particular threshold you look for (i.e. 10%, 15%, etc.) where it begins to degrade too much?

it really depends, but the longest i have ever waited is around 30-40% amber . I wanna try letting some plants go longer in the future but usually as soon as I see mostly cloudy and the odd amber trichomes and I chop. When i need to make room and the plant isnt really special I might chop her with 50% clear 50% cloudy no amber. In general though I really try to have at least mostly cloudy.

I thought the Chemo X Respect cross didnt work (always identify the branch you are pollinating lol) but this morning I found a couple seeds grinding a bud for a joint and looked in a few more buds and I am up to 5 seeds so far!! I am So Stocked!! I name this cross Crisco and I will start the seeds about a month from now!! I think this cross is going to be super unreal frosty.

Have you ran any dancehalle from reggae? I'm over trying to grab tga. I went by 2 dispensaries on the tga list and they were bad!! I'm thinking of ordering, dancehall, respect and bodhi og. Bodhi harlequim too if I can find it.

no have not grown dancehall, but I am growing Revolution right now and Senora Ampero from REggae Seeds. Pennywise is my one tga strain on the go right now but won't flower for a while. I am very busy until christmas and I am putting a few projects on hold like I am not gonna flower my pennywise male right now coze i won't be ready for pollen for a while.

I am sure you will be pleased with Respect, my keeper pheno smells the same as the other 2 I have grown but frostier and better yield.

I took the 2 SpaceGrins that were in the same container out of room 2, I placed them into budding September 12th and 65 days later they are coming down, the bud I looked under the microscope was mostly amber ... Ill look better tomorrow but yeah it seems like my version of Dr.Grinspoon FULLY matures in half the time of the original Dr.Grinspoon !!!! HALF!!!

Tonight I cleaned room2, released ladybugs, transferred a SpaceChemo and a Respect in room2 (DAY1), transferred a younger Shark from room2 to room1 because so far every plants i have grown from this cutting have been pushing nanners so I prefer to have the plant in the smaller room. It's the only plant in my collection that has a guaranteed 1:1 THC/CBD ratio so I dont want to get rid of her yet.

Mmmmm....... 'Hyperspoon'....

everything is moving fast and I am running out of plants in veg (even though I have good success rate with my clones they are very slow at first coze I dont use anything...) so anyway I decided to start some seeds, I looked in my collection and picked the following strains:

-UBC Chemo (the original bred by the University of British Columbia back in the 70's)
-Revolution (male) X Respect
-SpaceBomb X DrG (should be feminized ... says on the package that I must grow them out I guess the plant I got the seeds from was really frosty...)
-SpaceJill X Chernobyl (I still had 2 seeds!!)

I am pretty much starting fresh in room2, I have a Cheese that will be harvested shortly otherwise all plants are at least 6 weeks from being ready... I ll take some pics soon.

Nutrient teas with alfalfa meal and kelp and sst's really speed up clones in veg and aloe / kelp foliar too..


those sound like great crosses too.
