In terms of the single tube fixtures, I just bought them from my favorite grow store; I live in a "grower friendly" area. If you're looking to buy them online, try looking for a sunblaze single tube 48" fixture. I prefer this version over other models because there is a plastic outer shell on the fixture that prevents the plant from touching the bulb and getting burnt, this allows the bulbs to be very close to the inside of the plant and increase canopy penetration.

In terms of LST, I did not do it, although I can see why you'd ask, since I have all those crazy ribbons all over the place. I just did that to help support some branches, and pull others away to allow for more light to hit the lower part of the plant. There wasn't much of a strategy to it, I just adjusted things as needed.

Just so you all know, I will be taking a brief vacation from the Great T5 Adventure for about a month or so, due to a family visit. However, I'll be posting pictures of my other grow (which is honestly way cooler to look at than my little closet!). As well, I will be making posts relating to new design elements I incorporate into my setup (such as grow tent selection, etc.) So, stay tuned, because the adventure continues!

Would love to see some finished product. I'm just about to start a micro closet grow with T-5 and want to see how yours went.

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been remiss in updating this blog, I've been super busy so I took a brief hiatus from this blog. That being said, I will soon be starting up the next addition of the great t5 adventure...although at this point, it looks like I'm going to try a hybrid t5-hps-MH grow (I plan to use an adjusta-wing with dual 600's, and several strips of t5s woven throughout the canopy). I'll try to find some pics of finished product and post it. Stay tuned, I should be picking out my new setup shortly...I'm calling in a favor so I'm getting all new gear, should be exiting
