Mr. Ugly is a Cicada, makes a lot of noise and sheds his shell but is not considered a pest, and just sits there pretty much.

Are you sure the rot is not a worm burrowing into the stem??? Look for sawdust type material around the dark spot on the stem.
Any rot or mold can be killed by a little alcohol wiped on with a Q Tip or sprayed with a windex sprayer carefully onto the spot. It can save the stem til it's time to harvest.

I will smoke the rotted bud with the bug in it. lol That plant looks like it could have gone a little longer before you picked it?

lol smoke the bug! Nah I haven't picked it yet. The Blueberry will be ready in the next few days and the top 44 just after that.

them plants look nice, I would be mad as hell at that bug tho lol Its a shame what happened to the plant, lets have a moment of silence. . .

Damage was very minimal so no worries. :mrgreen:

I hate bugs so much. And high humidity when flowering equally as much = 0!
I have been very lucky with the bugs. Almost no bug damage. Harvested and trimmed the Blueberry last night and it smells great. :mrgreen:

Thanks mastakoosh. :mrgreen: This was only the first plant though. Got a big top 44 and three other smaller plants still to to harvest.:weed:
