Hey Frenchie, i been making bubble bag hash for a couple years now, i am very passionate with the whole art of hash making and tried many things and threw trial and error, friends and resherch learned a great deal. first off really wanna thank you for these guidelines you laid out for us, you put words n terms too alooot of shit i couldent really put my finger on, the terpenes and the step by step process of pressing softly with heat over and over again until you have one resinous mass ect.. i went threw most the thread but 1,800 pages is abit much too go threw =P so forgive me if i repeat question that have allready been asked.

when you are emptying your bags from the water shaking rather fast, i noticed you squeezing your 70 bag too get the water out almost instantly insted of using the 25 micron screen too extract the water, ive been told that using the bags themselves too squeeze water out could harm the heads and by squeezing around with the screen you stretch out the tissue impacting your final product quality and quantity, (tho i guess it must not be a DRAMATIC diffrence) i usualy try my best too let them empty themselves with slight agitation and allllooottt of time, you wouldent recommend this beacose of the terpene would detereorate the longer it takes?

also, i notice you literaly have no 25 micron bag, too my knowledge many of the borken heads endup there and are probably not of a higher quality but are still definitly worth collecting right!?!

lastly i guess this ones a little dumb but i just wanna make shure i understand, when it commes too the pressing process you do not mix the 70 and 45 together right? if you would there would be need too add the 70 in the first place?

today i will be making somme PurePowerPlant bubble using flowers only with your technique i will post pictures later on when it is complete, herd you say you never use the bud too make your hashish i just dont have access too trim so i will be using sumbomb budz, also could you elaborate what would be the upsides too using trim (appart from the difference in price) compared too flowers? the PPP i have is VERY dry would u recommend too spray with water in bag too damp it up, then put it inside the refrigerator wait 30 before going at it? or just throw in the water and ice and wait?

Thank you for all the knowledge LE QUEBEC VOUS REMERCI M.FRENCHIE!

No you will not harm your trichomes by squeezing most of the water from your bags and you would need a lot of force to stretch the weave of those bags. You want your bags to let the water pass through and then you need to rinse the trichomes in the bags thoroughly before squeezing the water out. Secondary cleaning.
I do not use 25 microns because the quality is good for edibles only, I know I am wasting a little and if I had a big operation I would use the 25 but it is not the case.
I do not mix my grade and often I do not even mix my wash.
If you work with dry buds put them between 2 layers of ice and then top it all with the water, wait 10 to 20 minutes and start working.
All the best Cousin du Quebec

So I brought my camera to repair and it was working after all, that girl had a true magic touch and I have quite the opposite.
Anyway I can finally show you the changes I made to the machine water exhaust.

Hello frenchy! I have wondered if the spherical ice cubes that are larger 2" would be less abrasive for the trim in the machine, as well as retain lower temps longer..... Have you any experience with these? http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00CBM3A8Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?qid=1377660874&sr=1-11&pi=SL75
It could be less abrasive but at such a level that you would not see the difference. Your average restaurant/hostel ice machine makes ice cube that are roundish in shape so the difference with a ice ball would be minimal. They will most certainly retain lower temp longer on the other hand.
I am really not "anal" on the ice cube, it is just a mean to get my water ice cold and that's it, so as long as they are made with clean water I do not care about the shape.

Very well, thank you for the quick response... I am ice cube tray shopping to make R.O cubes... i thought it might take less ice with these big balls, Less ice surface area sliding against the plant matter which i thought could reduce potential chlorophyll... I have all the materials after i purchase the trays to try your tech... I was paid for the bubble magic name (mistake) prior to reading your thread, but all is well and I am excited to run this dr.who and blue mountain kush .. Thanks for your help....

Hi Frenchy!

I really appreciate the knowledge you're sharing. I've gotten pretty decent with the ice wax method so it was an easy transition. One thing you've helped me realize is the ice is only included to get the water cold and keep it that way. I've contemplated using some dry ice, perhaps in a small mesh bag, to serve that purpose. It would require less overall (dry) ice, and produce less agitation with the plant matter. What do you all think? Peace Weed Nerds

I have never put dry ice in water, so let us know.

Will do. For the sake of information, dry ice is solid carbon dioxide at almost -110 deg. F, so it skips the liquid state and it makes "smoke" bubbles, or sublimates, into an inert CO2 gas when put in water. Too much might freeze the water, but I think a smaller bit should chill it adequately.

Thats what I was thinking it might freeze the water, I would suggest using several small pieces instead of one piece that way you could even control the temp of your water by adding or subtracting one more small piece. You do have an interesting idea let us know

I should clarify most preferably I was talking about dry ice pellets. Most grocers carry dry ice in blocks and I have been unable to find pellets locally. The blocks come in a plastic bag and they crush up into smaller pieces with a hammer or similar.

20130828_155210.jpg20130828_155154.jpg20130828_155227.jpg results of the PPP, truely amazing..... i have never had this high quality, evrything about it so abundant from the taste too the high completely incredible, 3 hits will have the back of your neck numbed out and youll be immobile for the first few minutes... and im the type of guy dat smoke ounces of top notch bud in weeks, and i have never had anything comme close too the experience this provides. i am truly astonished.... if only u culd taste haha, the ratio was about 15% i used too get 25%.. so i am abit bumed out for the quantity but would NEVER in a FUCKING MILLION YEARS trade that quality for that quantity.

Couldent thank you enough frenchy, really.. fucking.. incredible... Gandalf The Beige salutes you!

Hey Gandalf, if I could I would definitely taste that one, looks very yummy and by the way 15% is a pretty high average. The choice will always be the same Quality or Quantity, you seems to have taken side.
