The French Cannoli` Hash Thread

LOL again! I can assure you, the force of gravity was effectively constant throughout your entire pressing session. "Pressing" of course is a clue, air is pressing on the lid!

p.s. your cannoli looks tasty!
thanks. My point on the increased gravity force. It pulls the lid down more so on the jar. So its very difficult to remove the lid of the jar. To reheat water. I have to wait til the jar completely cools for the lid to.come off. I wasn't referring to anything about the pressing technique.

No, there is no increased gravity force. Gravity is exerting the same force on the lid the entire time and is very small; normally you have no troubles lifting the lid off the jar. Heat has no effect on gravity.

Air pressure is pushing the lid down, but that force also remains the same the entire time. When air pressure inside the sealed jar drops there is a difference in pressure between the inside and outside. Since the pressure is greater on the outside, it presses on the lid and holds it down.

While gravity is the ultimate source of atmospheric air pressure, it really doesn't enter the equation. Your experience would be exactly the same if you repeated it inside a pressurized room in free-fall, e.g. aboard the international space station.

read up on geodynamics and thermal dynamics. Higher temp = more gravitational attraction. Gravity is created by radiant heat. So actually my original post was correct that heat makes gravity.

there's 2 theories on gravity. Gravity attracts warmth to other warmth or the most accepted is that gravity is created by radiant heat.

a quick google search with an edu at the end will show several studies from cornel, oxford, cambridge and so on..

You're really going with that? You probably also think your drain swirls in whatever direction it does because you live in the northern hemisphere.

Hey Frenchy,

Happy New Years!

I have a few ounces of cured flowers that I was thinking about doing either QWISO or a hash run with. Do you have any recommendations on working with whole flowers?

My plan is to break the buds up a bit, maybe half the size of a dime. Then do the run as normal.

Should I refrigerate the material the night before?

Does anyone not recommend using whole flowers?
Use the whole flowers, the water will do the break down in the water, way more gentle .
You do not need to freeze your trims before.

With mason jars once the lid is on and you add heat the lid locks, the heat forces all the air out of the jar thus sucking the lid tightly closed. As for gravitational force I'm not sure but the heat does force the air out and sucks the lid in so hyroot may just be right :) stay positive friends

Come on you didnt want to savor that malt liquor? ha ha ha. Good for the bottle anyway ;)
I'm like the biggest non drinker you'll run into lol. Every now and then I may break down and have a few mixed drinks but I can feel my body doesn't like it so I stay away from it for the most part. Plus if I smoke enough hash I can get slightly off balance, feel better than drinking and without a hangover in the am hahaha

I hear you 100%. I used to drink like a fish before I started processing mary like a trash compactor and I still like a have a bit of red wine with dinner, but for the most part it makes you feel like shite so I stick to my herbals

You know it's weird...Ive done tons of drugs been addicted to opiates drank my ass off. then started growing and found out that with quality meds u literally don't need anything besides this plant. It doesn't make my body send alarms off when I use cannabis. Hope that gets understood but if u pay attention to your body it almost instantly will let u know if what your putting in it is good for it or not. I used to ignore those alarms but now I listen to them Like the bible lol
