Got in a scuffle in the Safeway parking lot this morning. Some crusty was screaming at his friend in front of my kid on our way in, and that shit pissed me off. So, I asked him politely to keep it rated G.
He bird-chested, and threw up his arms, then started coming towards me. Didn't hesitate. I wound up and belted him in the fucking mouth. Took aim at his friend, but he just stood there like an asshole. Dude got up holding his face, and before the shit could escalate I grabbed my girl, and got the fuck out of there. It took me like 2 hours to calm her down. Now she's at her aunties, and I am sitting here pulling on a bottle of cheap whiskey thinking about what a fucking idiot I am.

Shit, I wish. My friend who works in the same shopping center saw the shit go down during his lunch break, texted me, and apparently the cops got called and everything, took statements. I'm a little paranoid. Really hoping no one caught my plates or something.

Hey man it's not your fault you reacted. Just hard to think with two minds at the same time. It's all down to that split second and who knows what would of happened otherwise. I completely understand your mentality in that situation but do feel sorry that your kid happened to be there. Anyway don't beat yourself up.

Oh, she's not actually IN DM3, but she's touring with them, along with Willie Nelson this year. She's got "dysphonia" again. My girl sings her heart out. Total champ.
