So I thought you all would enjoy this bit of irony...

My recent seed order just arrived from attitude. I got the t-shirt guaranteed shipping, and this was the shirt I got...

Now is that a crazy coincidence or what?! I don't know if it's the same company or not, but either way I thought I'd share.

For $800 I expect to seeds to be delivered to me on a golden tray by a busty brazil model, with samples of what I am about to grow, and I expect said brazilian to get down on her knees and perform complimentary service, if you know what I mean :hump:. But thats just mean, also that is a pretty awesome shirt.

I seen them on the tude and could not believe it thats like some shit on bcbud but at least bc has some strains that are or atleast sound original like the elephant bud. either way thats insane $800 for 10 seeds, I had a hard time paying $90 for Reserva privadas OG #18 but I atleast feel like it was a good purchase.

I would really like to know the reasoning or justification behind the pricing of some seeds, some Doggies Nuts seeds in particular.

If you look at the percentage difference in cost increase over what might be considered to be average you know the high priced beans are not that much higher in THC percentage levels to justify it. If it were the case people would have been going crazy talking about it before now.

If it yielded enough that you needed a dump truck to haul it around in people would have been talking about it before now, so it can’t be that.

Maybe where the justification is found is possibly Doggies Nuts higher dollar genetics produce more THC producing trichome stalks/resin-heads so you do not get more potent THC but you take in a larger amount of the same level potency THC with each hit so it hits you harder faster and is always like being just that little bit ahead of the rest of the pack because of that slightly increased amount of THV per hit? Sort of like taking 1.25 hits per hit.

Possibly it is not better in any way but it is in some way or ways very unique and to some if it is only equally as good as the rest but is very unique then it is what they want and what they will pay for.

Then again it is possible someone in pricing believed W.C. Fields when he said; "There's a SUCKER born every minute" and possibly also agrees with W.C. Fields in the following;"You can't cheat an honest man. Never give a sucker an even break or smarten up a chump."

Who will find out which of the above it might be?

I was gonna save for their $1200 50 mix pack but fuck that.
Im gonna blow my money on Soma and G13 stuff if Im gonna spend money.

I'm not buying the "Brag to your friends about paying $800 for 10 seeds" rationale.

If I ever paid that much I wouldn't want anyone to find out about it... It's like saying "Dude, look how stupid I was!"...

i am glad to have found this thread.. i keep looking at the doogies nuts strains hoping to see that they come encased in gold or something crazy like that.. and who has ever heard anything about them aside from the price of their products? good, bad or indifferent... i agree that if a breeder is just starting out, they should come to a site like this and throw out some freebies.. i have seen this done before when breeders were trying new genetics and just asked that the reciever kept a grow journal for all to see.. not a bad deal..
i even have a hard time paying like almost three hundy for soma's nyc diesel, and this is a legendary strain... it kills me to think that soma goes around preaching about how he is out to spread marijuana around the world and blah blah blah, and then charges that amount of money for diesel.. but like i said, atleast it has stood the test of time and i have heard much about it..
i am still looking for someone who has tried any doggies nuts stuffs..
if anyone has ever, please enlighten us as to how good, bad, out of this world ... whatever... just wanna find out how a seed could ever be worth almost a $100 a bean... crazzzzzzzzzzyyyyyyyy dough for one seed..

well you won't have the choice for much longer. luckily these rip off artist's have stopped making and selling seeds. no seeds are worth paying the prices they where asking. scumbags for sure.

The real unfortunate part about the whole situation is that some people DID purchase these seeds. I've seen posts of people mentioning how they've grown them, and like 323cheezy said above it wasn't anything special. Very low germination rates, high hermie rate and even some males reportedly coming from fem seeds.

Just a shame...but that's what you get for paying $800 for some fucking seeds. There's a sucker born every minute I suppose...:dunce:

have they really stopped making beans? that is good.. i don't see how they could go out of business, all that they would have to do was sell one seed a month and i think that would have covered all of the operating costs, lol... i would think that some people have the attitude that just because they sell them for $800 a pack, then they must be the best beans out there, but i am glad to hear that no one really took the bait, and now they are no longer making and selling low quality, high priced beans... RIP doggies nuts...
