he can come off a bit gruff for sure, but i've talked to him numerous times over the phone, and never really had an issue with the guy, and most of the stuff i've grown from him has been pretty fire. i can see how he might rub some people the wrong way, i just haven't had an issue with him..

i ran his ecsd, which was pretty good.. a good yielder, nice sour d taste and smell, decent potency..
his og kush, the ghost cut, omfg, i absolutely loved this plant, everything a good kush should be imvho, amazing taste, decent yields, for an og kush at least, and potency for days.. one of my faves..
his dope, i wasn't really blown away by this one.. i only grew a couple of plants of it, maybe i just didn't get a full representation of what it has to offer, but like i said, not one that i was really impressed with..
and i think i did something else, but i'm having problems remembering what it was atm..
i'd love to pick up him chemdawg or a x of it, but monies been tight lately, and i haven't gotten around to pulling the trigger on it..
dr gruber has grown pretty much his entire catalog, and usually does a top notch grow journal on each of them, any interest, peep his stuff on here in the grow journal section..

I smoked some of his g13 6 clones was gifted to me and it was the higest in thc that I ever sean or smoked in my life pluss other my kin grew .my father was a very heavy smoker as I was and 2 joints was all he could help smoke till he passed out.i just love the tast of it so much I smoked 5 joints every knight try to get dad to help with the 5 but he just could not but that was a waist for 2 tolks would fuck you up as bad as a pound smoked..my kin grew that shit and so did I tell we all got busted and lost that g13 strain,so my kin got it back from grean thumb and grew the hell out of it for 10 moor years till they kicked in the door and even found there outdoor grow of it and off to prison they went..i just hope I can get me 3 fem, seeds next year to have a chance to grow it again.when pot was 100.00 here a zip that g13 sold for 400.00 a zip as fast as you could bag it up.now you see why I mis it so bad.LOL ky....my kin is out of prison now so I say by next year they will get the g13 fired back up with no bad luck..ky

i have used cash everywhere and never had problems but .......things can happen intransit

he also is dang repecttful to his customers with any contact i have had...which is substantial

but i guess there are people that can get to anyone

but if he didn't get the dough then ..well you know

Glad to hear some positive results on greenthumbs.
Never tried and, but had a friend run more later gear; og, sour d, cookie, and didn't come across anything special so he says.
I just didn't like his picture of the g-13, so I never grabbed any.
But I did want to try his original gear, as that interested me a while back.

His Ghost OG, and East Coast Sour D always seem to get rave reviews, but some of the others seem hit or miss. Never ran any of his strains, but I've done some research, and those two are tops on my list if i ever order from him. The fact that they are expensive and always available keep me from ordering........really expensive and rare, I'm all over that shit!! The game works!!

Always register/track your mail and require signature when sending cash in the mail. Especially when sending that much.


Anyone selling 3 beans for $200 I wouldn't put it past em to give themselves a $450 USD bonus every once in a while. ;)

I have friends who've ordered several times from Doctor Greenthumb and everything was received as ordered. He often includes an extra (fem) seed too.

His prices are high, but the product has been good to excellent. I've heard he can get a little reactive when having a disagreement with somebody, but I've also heard if you treat him with respect he does the same.

It's not far fetched to think a postal worker may have helped themselves to a cash order though. All they'd need to do would be match up the address on the envelope with a bit of knowledge that it's going to a seed seller, might hold cash, etc.

Just my opinion, but Doctor Green Thumb wouldn't really be incentivized to not ship an order or steal cash, as he has to be aware people would bitch and that isn't good for a guy in a business where internet feedback can make or break a business.

I'm sorry you didn't get your seeds, that's gotta be really disappointing. I wonder if you called and apologized, explain what happened WITHOUT accusing him, if he might help you out.

It does seem like you have assumed his guilt without actually knowing it to be true.

No, was looking at his C99, its a S1 and prob one of the best you can get but at $150 us for 5 seeds reg beans its stiff price. But never heard of any bad stuff comming from him, I hear hes a great breeder.

he is giving 5[6] for g13 now..apparently its crazy hard to reverse the g13 clone enough to get viable fem pollen

the bubba is benchmark bubba genetics..as for the rest..you would be surprised how many top notch dispensary clones

that are "verified"...come from his s1's..seeing as he was basically the only person selling s1's of og,bubba, ecsd,chemdawg

and now all these different name clones with names like platinum,and a zillinn other names come out..

nah..from s1's..and try to find some other bean company doing that back in the early 2000's

anyway..yes a postal money order is a safe bet..

and no..no seed bank that has been going since 1996 wants to rip you off..

they want your repeat business[ffs]..thats where the coninuation comes from..and SO many of docs customers are repeat..

like me..

losing dough in the mail sux.
