The cure to low temps in DWC?!

I l have finally thought of something in my high stupor that just might work. What if after you mix up your nutes take a portion of that, buy some ice trays and freeze the nute mix. The first time you freeze the nute mix take twice as much. Only put in half of what you take out the first time and one day before you put another couple of ice trays in get some more nutes to freeze. How bout some of youe experts way in. I have only been growing for 5 years, 2 in DWC.

I'm presuming this is to keep temps down in your res?

You could try insulating the DWC buckets in rockwool.


Not too sure about freezing nutrients whether it would have any negative effects.

If you go down this root you could freeze your water as normal ice cubes.

A few of these to keep temps down shouldn't really effect too much.
