Hey everybody, i have a question. I'm about to go on Christmas break from school so i was planning on going back home this weekend and staying until after new years. My plant is getting really close to harvest (like a week or two away). About 50% of the hairs on it are orange but i know alot of people say wait until about 70%-80% of the hairs are orange until you chop it. What i was wondering is, after you cut it do the hairs still turn orange or is it dead and instantly stops changing? If i cut the bud down a lil early will it make my bud like faulty? Lol that question kinda sucked, what i mean is, do the last week or two of flowing really matter? My buds haven't even gotten any bigger for the last week or so the hairs are just changing color.

if you chop right now youre going to have a much stronger head high than body high. the bud wont be as good as it could be because youre missing out on 2 weeks of growth. no it wont grow after you chop. theres no chance you could stay the rest of the week? I think you should be fine chopping a tad early though.

The hairs will all turn orange after you chop it, but the hairs changing colors is NOT how you determine when it should be harvested.

I know you should look at the trichroms with a magnifying glass to see if they are no longer clear but milky and stuff but why should i not do it by hair color? Do the trichroms and hairs develop at a different rate or something?
