How much does Rita want for the lm561c boards? You can buy lm561c strips 288 diode from digikey, that’s what I just did.. well actually I take that back I was going to get the 288 diode strips (4’) and I ended up getting the 144 diode (2’), 160 of them cost 2550 after everything all said and done with 2 day shipping..
I’m too lazy to frame and wire all the strips I would need

I’m sure they got a little warm I had fans blowing on them don’t really remember did it at the end of flower for a under performing table.. Check out this product on Alibaba App Kingbrite QB52 Epistar 660nm + 730nm (Emerson effect) Grow Booster Strip (PCBA only) https://m.alibaba.com/product/62419253312/Kingbrite-QB52-Epistar-660nm-730nm-Emerson.html?__sceneInfo={"type":"appDetailShare","data":{"filterKey":"7.8.2_share","cacheTime":"1800000"}} these is what I was planing on using since I’ll have roughly over a foot of space on the fixture
The epistar diodes used in these are usually considered rubbish here, although i havent tried myself. If i were in your shoes id get some, and compare them with cree diodes, kb has another version with all crees. Once you see what is what go all in and get enough for all the tents.

They also have some strips with far red and uv that look interesting.

I was planning on getting enough to fill 12 tables, depending how much budget I have left after the trimmer I’ll try them out on one or 2 of the other tables. Wanted to try and see how much tables with red, no red, uv no Uv etc. any suggestions for a driver to power all 4 strips up to 80 watts

Hope I'm not spamming the thread. This is what the seller for the second link responded: "In the market , Many manufacturer choose to use other leds, some is so bad. We use one big listed company's 302H bead which is based on Smasung 301H bead (use bridgelux chip), they called it 302H , high quality, the real PPE can be 2.85-2.9 Umol/J . so,please no worry about it. Regards. Qkwin service 2020-12-1" So in essence it must have similar chips like the Mars Hydro.

You might want to start reading back a whole wack of pages... most of your questions will be answered if you do.

They are, I think they're the best thing going right now. They fit in just so perfect into the tent, and the PAR readings across the canopy are alot nicer than I get with my Bava boards.
@DrKiz have you uploaded your par readings on here? Itd be nice to see how the Meiju lights are performing, I've been looking for a independent PPFD chart of the Kingbrite's on Alibaba and cant find anything

Too busy to do a proper chart. The Meijiu Majo’s pictured are 800 watt each. Hitting 850 at the centre of each at about 60% dim.

The MJ-650 are hitting same par and at about 550 watts.

I’ll bump to 950 for a week. Then back off to finish.

I was burning some tops on sensitive strains running too close or too high wattage before.

Those MJ-650’s are plenty up to a 5x5. The new LED’s are a lot more powerful than most realize.

I just hang em high enough for good spread and adjust the dimmers to par.

After this run is complete I might get some time to do something concrete. Reason I wanted dimmers and an accurate meter is so I didn’t have to guess or adjust light height.

Originally I used numbers bk78 posted. They worked well. You’re going to have to search for that post though. Lol.

When it comes to untested brands like this its really hard to say. Meijiu/kingbrite seems to be the most tested alibubbers. R2t HK are also supposed to do well. Theres a bunch of companies putting any samsung diode on a board selling them. Doesnt mean they wont grow just that they will give less light for the watt. 30-35w per square foot, if youre buying sorta untested or extra cheap then maybe up to 35-40 just to make sure.
If youre going for cheapest possible it might be a point in looking into DIYing with some strips, they get a lot of love.

Guys, the issue is that Meijiu and Kingbrite are not available for shipping from the EU. I have read extensively the last few pages, if I could I would go for the Meijiu. I live in an EU country and I'm really not in a position to engage with customs with shipping from China ;).
@ Rocket Soul: Yeah, I know I ordered 3xunits with Samsung LM281b+ chips - not LM301 but they will do the job. The sellers I'm looking at have plenty of positive reviews - I don't know if they are fabricated of course. I'm opting for 50 watts/square foot, I'm working with Closed Growing Enviroment and CO2 supplementation. The only reputable company I have found for EU is Invisible Sun - they offer a certificate of authenticity on their units. But their 300 watt units cost ~350 $ while with the sellers I'm looking at, I'm getting 480 watts for the same price. DIY - not enough time man. Current grows are consuming lots of time already. I will have that in mind for the future though.

There are many of us including me that live in the EU (UK here) that have imported from China in my case kingbrite. I think I paid DHL £30 extra for import fees. But all in it was a much cheaper deal than I could source within the EU. Still going strong after 5 grows 18 months.

Yeah, I'm getting your point :). The issue is that in my country I may get a phone call from customs asking what I'm going to do with the products I bought. It has happened in the past with a CO2 controller I imported from American Amazon. Plus with the Covid situation, it's highly possible that those orders will get processed in January. And this is an ongoing grow I have now - looking to replace HPS to reduce those killer electrical bills and improve the growing enviroment.

Anyways, thanks for the insight guys. I'm gonna update you when I make my choice, perhaps another european grower will find it useful. For now Invisible Sun is the only brand that seems legit for a reasonable (albeit not exactly economical) amount of money.

I would like to buy a qkwin board, the 302h chips which leaves me perplexed, someone would have a picture of them, you have to be careful ,with enfun they use smd 3030 or lm301 as an option, others on Amazon give you 10% of samsung and mixed with 90% remaining low end smd, but they sell you that like 301 ...
for now the qkwin seems to me a good choice.

sorry if google translates me wrong

have a good day
