Lost as in "died"?
Yes, it was dead as could be. It wasn't over watered or under either, no real critter signs other than a few bugs eating some fan leaves, and that is no big deal. I've got an irrigation drip on them that puts out a 1/4 gallon and hour and the water is pretty clean. I know temps weren't the issue either as it was kicking but when it was 102 degrees + here, so when Sub talks about his plants dealing with temps, I can attest to the fact that this strain can deal. As long as they have the water they will thrive.

Understood. My bro and I grew in inland Southern California and it
can get, and stay, in the 90s there. Thank goodness that humidity is
not a problem. No PM please!

When I have had plants just die without showing a lot of damage, or
an infestation, then I expect to find the roots either gone* or visibly damaged.

* I have gone to pull up a dead plant, only to find that it disappears a little
below the surface. This is gophers where I live.

Take care,

JD

Forgot to mention had the first taste of The Flav last night, the flavor was incredible. All three phenos have this lemon flavor and citrusy taste that lingers. Every now and then I just open a jar and sniff just to savor the aroma. I'd say I had a pretty good haul on yield for mainlining and growing Hempy Method, my 3.5 gal bucket 16 tops net was 4.15 oz, the two 5 gal buckets were 5.65 and 6.21 oz from an 8 top and 16 top mainline. The only other thing I would mention is I'm now using 1000watts of light which is definitely my preferred way to grow.

I keep my lights at least a foot above the tops, I've found this to be a good height to keep from bleeching and burning the top. I'll also defoliate some if not most of the lowers to get more light lower.

It's been awhile since my last up date on the SOG, the tent is full and I'm running 86 clones. The Flav SOG 2 001.jpgThe Flav SOG 2 002.jpgThe Flav SOG 2 003.jpg Just placed the last batch of clones in to flower, I have one batch that should be ready in 2 weeks with the remainder coming out every 2 weeks after that. I have a new project that is 104 seeds being germed now and will veg them 4 weeks and then to 12/12. These will all be in 2L coco/perlite Hempies.

Looking good there! fyi what you have there are f2s, not IBL... they will not be IBL until you've bred them through many successive generations and they produce a stable homogenous gene pool. Your next batch if you keep going will be f3s, then f4s, etc..

I suppose that how many generations would depend on how fast
the expressed phenotype settled down?
