It works better than safer in my experience. I'm using only botaniguard, the worms are dropping left and right and the hairs haven't shown any signs of burn.
Have you used captain jack? It's half the price and it does pretty much the same thing but I never used it before just want to know if anyone used captain jack and does it work good?

not using the conserve anymore?
No I use it on plants in veg but it smells like fucking poison so I found botaniguard which is a bit more natural, has no smell to it and doesn't irritate ur skin at all. The conserve stuff fucking massacres the worms but it's really not good for u.

thats an interesting active ingredient i hadnt heard of. with the low application rate seems like a winner. wonder if its any less of a poison though. the stuff you smell in the conserve is the inactive ingredients. the spinosad is all the same. im gonna look into it some more, thanks

ya bro anytime you spray you should be covered up! gloves, mask, and long sleeves, safety glasses hoody or hat, jeans and shoes. proper protective wear. unless your making a spray out of natural herbs and garlic etc. cover up!

Just bought Captain Jack and it's 4 tbs per gallon and I already use 8 tbs already it's not gonna last through out flower. Might have to buy botanigard which one did you get the Botanigard Es or botanigard 22WP?

thats the main reason i use conserve sc. its only 2ml per gallon for worms. and spinosad is ok for organic production. the reason its smells so intense is there is pretty much no water in the product. i believe the botanigard Bud is using 6 tsp or 30 ml. it takes me roughly 60 gallons to spray my canopy. thats 1800 ml of botanigard per application. compared to 120 ml conserve sc. i cant afford to use it i think..

I noticed a brown bud on the Scott's OG - there was a worm inside! Time to spray!

I will give botaniguard one more shot, ill spray once more with it and see if anything dies, if not were gonna have to take drastic measures.

I've used safer brand caterpillar killer and it works pretty good but this year I'm using captain jack and the plants just got sprays 2 days ago. I don't know if I have caterpillars worms in my bud now but every year I get them so might as well spray the plants safe than sorry. Some of my plants been flowering for about 4 weeks now and most plants are about 2 weeks in.

Note to self: seems like the caterpillars are focusing on the grape stomper bx2. They really like that plant. I've been finding huge worms burrow through top colas. Very upsetting, but not something I'm new to lol. I'm going to spray just the stomper with conserve and spray botaniguard on the other plants because they have hardly any signs of worms (the stomper has more worm damage than all the other plants combined!)

Hey Bud,
The Scott's OG has a similar fate. It seems to be the target of the worms. Although it is the farthest along. They go right for the biggest densest bud and make a home in the middle. Today I found two little worms happy as could be and a big one half dried and almost dead. I'll just keep spraying every two weeks until harvest.
Cheers,
Mo
