OK people we all don't have thousands of dollars to throw at every grow op we set up this is the place to tell of all the ways you have ever cut corners to save/shave off that few extra dollars to save money or ways you have found to just make killer bud. everything from DIY projects you have thought of to Home brewed nutrients share it all and help out your fellow up and coming growers :)

this whole thing runs off of a bunch of 2 liter or 3 liter bottles that have had the bottoms cut off them just screw them on and fire it up and your off and running :) got the whole setup for under 60 bucks and it hold 11 plants would be perfect for short auto-flowering strains.

yea im pretty excited about it now i just need to find the time to put it together and try it out and possibly have to work out the kinks ( nothing ever works the first time for me :) )

I harvested the top buds of my budget grow this morning (letting the bottom finish up)

I spent $234 used one 65 watt cfl and one 32 watt T9 so 97 watts of light, one plant in a square foot grow space, got 92.4 grams wet (so far)

nutes were Jack's Classic and DynaGro

Okj i got to post this...its really been bugging me .. i keep telling people but they wont listen .. it doesn't matter if your nutrients cost 160 dollars a bottle or 16 dollars a bottle ... as long as you have the proper n-p-k ratios hell miracle grow will work ... its all the same shit anyways .OMFG !!:-?

Yeah I often feel like a rant when I come here and read questions :bigjoint:

but the good news is that since I have been here there have been a lot of converts to cheaper nutes, I have been tellin folks about Jack's Classic and DynaGro (so does UB) and others are starting to spread the word

Some will never listen, it's just the way it is, I try to just remain calm and answer questions without emotion playing into it :bigjoint:

see i like Jacks Classic too and its cheap as hell but i have to order it here so if it don't come in on time i got the good old miracle grow on standby :) hell i even used mirical grow and Jacks Classic on a dwc sucessfully so i dont even believe the whole HYDRO nutes thing either ... :wall:

It's simple you go to Lowes and get like some 1/4" pvc lengths, elbows, tees... go to wal-mart and buy their emergency blankets in the sporting goods ($3), and a roll of that metal tape (like $8)... peice together a frame and tape the emergancy blankets (myler) to it

Most cost efficient set up IMO for that amount of plants

gonna have to try this one .. will it stand up to much abuse (got animals in the house) or does it tear easily ??

ive had my doberman in mine with me a couple times but its big 9x8x5 its the type where it doesnt tear that easy but once it gets one its like butter... mylars pretty tough (aluminized polyester)
