hey everyone i thought id start my own journal and tell u all whats happend so far..i got 1 of my seeds off a mate not sure what it is yet looks funny so far and the rest i got from some really really stinking green nice and sticky no idea what strain but both look indi i think. i went for a soil grow and i started it in bottles because i was goin to go for the no drainage system but i changed my mind. i started my plants under a full sun spectrum fluro what i bought from the pet shop it says it stimulates plant growth but its like a 20w bulb.. i also got a 400w maxibright envirolight with reflector to help so i've had both lights on 18/6 seemed to be workin fine untill 2 of my plants picked up sunburn i didnt even know what it was!! so i read alot of stuff and finally found out. they seem to be going back to the dark green they started at so im happy at the moment as you can see i started my plants in bottles because i was goin for the no drainage but then my soil stayed really wet so i cut the bottom off the bottles and planted them lol sounds bad i know but they really looked nice and green only problem is now when they get bigger i gota cut the bottoms off of the plant pots to and do it again but neva mind i got a few more seeds left. i'll put up some more pics later as these were in the first 3 weeks and im in the 4th or 5th now so they are alot bigger. tell me what you think!!

cheerz monkey i will do that later 4 sure... here's an update!!.. i had to lower my plants because they got sunburn so i moved my big fan to keep it cooler inside its helping alot because there is also a water heater inside the same closet what keep the temp and humid high. so im glad i had 2 fans... oh yea you can see i had to give the old girl the snip on a leaf because i dropped my light chain and it cut into 2 leafs so i cut em off to fight infection.. i know im a nub but hey i think its male anyway i have 11 plants in total really good strong smell they smell really earthy already its good but only 3 have the real strong weed smell not bad for first week into the second month

Nice one UK, looking really green and healthy there, and looks like a good set-up you've got going. Glad your sunburn is sorting itself out. Couldn't you just re-pot the whole thing into bigger (deeper) pot, lightly fill in around the bottle with soil, remove the bottle by cutting down one side and carefully pulling it away and finally fill in with more soil to firm it up? If you give the whole lot a good soak with water (both the soil in the pot and especially the top part in the botte), then leave it for a couple of hours before you start, the soil should stay together for you when you take the bottle away. Even if it didn't so long as you've at least lightly filled in around it before you cut, the soil mass isn't really going to go anywhere. Just a thought, please tell me if I'm talking crap LOL.

I wish you all the best for the grow - you seem to be doing an excellent job. Keep up the good work and you're in for a treat ;) Look forward to seeing your next pics.

If you're going to try re-potting, I'd do it sooner rather than later. Get a pair of long scissors so you can cut down the bottles even with the soil around them, and I was thinking cut down TWO sides of the bottle so it just comes apart - less chance of it damaging the leaves as you pull it away. Ive re-potted my Cinammon plants twice. Second time the soil mass fell apart on me with two of them as I was trying to lower them into the new pots. Didn't do them any harm at all (maybe I just got lucky LOL).

I've been very lucky with the weather over here so far. Not so good this last week or two but plenty of sun in between the showers. It really does make a difference, they just love light. But not TOO much as we've both learned the hard way LOL.

sounds like a plan green i think thas what im gona do jus go down both sides wid the sissors then if i have to hold the stem because the soil falls apart it'll be fine as u said about bein lucky lol i have kicked the same plant over 3 times wen im waterin the outhers..soil goes all over the floor n shit i put it back everytime and it heals its ideal but will prob die if i doit again..

LOL - haven't kicked any over yet, but my dog pissed on one the other day haha. Just gave it a flush with water and no signs of any harm done. Have to keep him the hell away from them in future ;)

Sorry to see you're having problems. Is this plant a different strain from the others, or is there anything else unique about this one or it's history that could be a reason why it's behaving differently? Also are you feeding the plants? It looks a bit like a few pics of nute burn I've seen. If it keeps happening I'm sure it's possible to figure out what's going on. But you're right, I reckon they all have their own personalities and traits - perhaps she's a bit like me, I can't go in the sun without getting burnt either LOL.

I don't know if you have repotted yet, but what I have always done is...if your watering schedule is, say two days, repot on the day you would be watering. Do it before you water, and the dirt seems to stay on the root ball...I always break up the very bottom of the root mass too, just to stimulate root growth. I wouldn't use scissors to cut away anything, just get a good grip on it, and squeeze all around it as you gently tug the plant out by the base of the stem. I worked in the family tree farm for years, and that is how I was taught to do it. Just my two cents, but something for you to think about.
Looking good by the way!
