the best led lighting to grow

I have always been a grower, since my youth and have grown crops in all systems, in soil outdoors, hydro and aero, and the one that best suits my needs is indoor cultivation. The old sodium halide lighting systems have always had very big drawbacks, high temperatures and high energy consumption, these problems ended when led lighting came to the market. At this point, all growers who use led lighting to grow crops, use the same Chinese lamps with Samsung lm301B or H led with some red reinforcement, thinking of obtaining low power consumption, high efficiency and a large flow of photons. PPF without taking into account several much more important points. China is the most polluting country on the planet along with India, Chinese companies do not respect the rights of workers, they bombard us with propaganda of Mars, Betsva, Xyo lamps and other garbage thinking that it is the best in terms of lighting because they are cheap. .. and we are wrong, these lamps will be very expensive.

I want to gut chinese led samsung lamps and compare them to a real horticultural lamp made by a grower guru.
1) Chinese lamps with Samsung LEDs are in ratios of 2.7 to 2.9 umol / j of PPF, although it really is not an exact measurement since we all know that the cannabis plant requires a large amount of red between 630 and 665 nanometers, therefore , green and yellow is not an active PPF, it is inactive and represents between 30 and 40% of the total emitted light.
The professional LED that I used as an example (it could be any other professional lamp, but I know this model perfectly), emits a fully active wavelength, 100% within the absorption range of the cannabis plant, that's why In vegetable and flower greenhouses they use complex lamps that can change the light they emit, this is because plants need very specific wavelengths depending on the stage they are in, they are not just theories, it is pure science. That is why the professional lamp is giving us a difference between 30 and 40% higher in efficiency.

2) The professional LED is also giving us a starting flow of active PPF of 2.6 umol / j, but if we acquire lamp models that can lower the power, we can achieve active PPF flows of up to 3.5 umol / j. It is a real outrage, something impossible for a Chinese lamp.
In addition, the professional lamp has a useful life of between 70,000 and 100,000 hours of useful life, that is a useful life 200% higher than Chinese lamps.

3) Finally, although professional lamps have many more qualities that surpass Chinese lamps.
The quality that makes it superior to any Chinese lamp is its origin, the professional lamp that I use is of European manufacture, drivers manufactured in the EU, Osram led from Germany, PCB manufactured and SMD mounted in Spain, heatsinks manufactured in Spain.
The components are of the highest quality and the carbon footprint is minimal since there is no contamination by the highly polluting transport of the goods.
Not even the heatsinks are anodized so as not to use polluting products, totally reusable lamps.
I hope you liked my theory, I leave you a sample of the results of my lamps, cannabis 100% consistent with the environment. Greetings.IMG_20180529_220059.jpgIMG_20180520_152652.jpgIMG_20180529_200809.jpg

Just a note, every time we use lighting that has a high consumption or LED lamps that come from China, we are contributing to global warming, we do not use Chinese lighting of sodium lamps, LEC or halide lamps that contain heavy metals in their interior and are highly pollutants, we use high-efficiency LED lighting, specific spectra without wasting light and above all, local trade and components within our territory. Let's take care of the planet, let's take care of the environment.

Just because Osram is a German company doesn't mean the LED's are manufactured there. Same thing with the drivers. They might be assembles in Europe but the components are likely made in China.

"In a further move to strengthen its leading position in the market for light-emitting diodes (LED), Osram today officially opened its LED assembly plant in Wuxi, China. The factory has a floor area of about 100,000 square meters and will employ as many as 2,100 people by 2017."

Osram manufactures its led bulbs and tubes in China, but these boards are not made by Osram, it only has Osram and Lumiled diodes, these PCB boards are made in Germany and SMD assembly in Spain.
The big brands continue to take care of their exclusive products to maintain their advantage with the competition, these diodes cannot be found in Asia, not even Asian manufacturers can buy them, only the lower quality or more commercial Osram LEDs.
they know that in two days they will have their technology copied.

There are more components than just diodes and it's a guarantee that some of the components are made in China. And I think you mean SMT "Surface Mount Technology" not SMD.

I also don't see how posting pictures of early harvested weed full of brown leaves makes a case for anything. If you're trying to make a case for made in Europe the closest you get is assembled in Europe using non-Chinese diodes. The examples of plants you posted don't prove the light is better.

What exactly does chopping a torqued , unfinished cola have to with argument other than you could have the best tech on the planet and pull shit looking like that ?

You my friend need to get your gardening skills under control instead of soap boxing the china menace …. Samsung is a Korean brand of LED BTW.

so china bad? ok, check.....

are you saying the samsung diodes are bad?, its not really clear in your post?...

why isnt it an exact measurement?, the sphere tests good chinese manufactures use will capture and record red in the 630nm to 665nm range no problem?...

as for green and yellow not being "active PPF" thats 100% wrong...

WRONG …. Plants have 2 pigments that will utilize green / green-yellow although to much lower degree . Both Phytochrome and Cryptochrome use it for flowering , photosynthesis and other plant processes … ….. White light is made up of red , blue AND GREEN .

Nice try tho
