just returned from wallyworld with the booty. it cost me a little more but i didn't want to hang around the pantyhose section for to long to find the cheapest pair, i just grabbed one and probly got the most expensive pair but w.e.

I have a question for you tho. what kind of exaust are you running to your filter. i have a 3" pc fan on a cell phone charger and i am worried i won't be able to push enough air through. we'll see.

I hung out and the cheapest I could find was $1 for one pair. One of the multipacks could have been better.

Why do you get embarrassed hanging out in the pantyhose section for ? That's were the babes hang out, gives you a reason to start a conversation with them.

i had mine together for about a week and i can still smell them. Do it work better having the fan blow into it or suck it out of the filter

It shouldn't make much difference but you should have it on the vent that is pushing the air out of the room. In other words the air has to pass thru the vent on the way out.

If it still isn't strong enough build a second one and double filter it.

They are small and cheap to build so if you have a lot of plants don't expect it to perform miracles, just build a second one. Have you saw the pictures for the normal size ones, they are about 3 feet tall.

i actully took the filter off the outside of the box where the fan was pushing air thru the filter and put it on the inside so now the fan is pulling air from it and the smell is gone. temps went up to mid 80s- low 90's and humidity went up to bout 35% which is working out of me now.

Glad to hear it. Sometimes things actually work out for the best.

That sucks! Yeah I was afraid of that happening in my case so I contrieved some clamps outta wood which I secured with drywall screws. Your plant should recover with a little support unless you have a clean snap off of the stem but is sure is unnerving when shit like that happens.

Reading through the thread you'll see that lots of folks are using 120mm pc fans to do the trick so your ac fan should work even better providing it's inline with the filter some way.

i was thinking overlap the opening end with the stock, stick a hook through the pantie and hang it like that. it wouldn't cover the smell completely but that's why i made 4 of them =)

carbon is not the rocks that goes at the bottom of the fish tank, they do look like rocks but are always black, and are used to filter the water in thee water filtersystem, if you just buy fish rocks your not going to get no effect so yeaah.
