Hi all,
Had some requests from people to show how the bending technique works so here is a little video for you guys. I know it kinda sucks because I made it off the Iphone so please bear with me. This is basically to give people ideas on how to possibly set up your grow for some plant manipulation that we call the Bending technique. From my past experiences ( and I love to experiment as long as the person telling me the info has proof from their grow it works ) this has increased my yields more then topping. The lights are on so if you want better shots or need me to explain something better please tell me. There are many ways to do this. I just chose this way because running a flood tray and needing support for the net I chose PVC pipe. VERY EASY to work with, stable, and you can have the legs in the tray with out effecting anything because PVC will not rot in water. So I hope this helps some people. Why top when you can bend with no days lost of growth or recovery. Here it is. Enjoy and if it helps you out or you think this is good advice thanks in advance.

That's kinda like a scrog huh.
No not scrog.. I think scrog you top them but I thought you stopped manipulation once you switch to 12/12. Not to sure but only difference I think is the topping part to be honest thou I am not to sure on this one.

scrog looks more efficient.
in bending or Scrog the main goal is to get an even canopy to get more tops. I think you can prolly get the same pull of either as long as you make sure you have that canopy. I just prefer not to top because i do not lose grow time.

I just do not like losing that week of lost growth when you can do it without topping.

personally i top em when they are a 10" to a foot. then let em go to 15" then put em into flower. i don't chop off any lower branches. just lower growth on those branches i used to be all about super cropping. it doesn't work with all strains especially afghani bullrider. it pops back up straight after healing. now these days i only super crop for height control.. i actually get more with the method i do now
