Right! I would go with the best evidence. These finding have not yet been peer reviewed and confirmed, just like the new nutrino's moving faster than light finding. Some of the news I've read about the nutrino's have phycisist's saying they believe it's an error in the procces. Great examples of science at work.

Thanks for the correction, MP. Kind of like a quantum 'Ultimate 747' scenario? I can see an inanimate object popping into existence this way, even something with seemingly conscious design like a car or watch, but I was referring to conscious creatures. Even in a infinite universe with infinite time, is it possible for this to occur to form a living creature, with not only a a brain large enough to be sentient, but one with enough fully formed synaptic connections to actually BE conscious?

No offense but I'm not really following your logic. <just had to say that before respond and just sound crazy.

If we were able to pop into existence somewhere then our carbon copies would be able to also. Now since we haven't found any other species (that us regular people know of) of aliens (yes I know there's other organisms that have been found, but I'm talking about carbon copies of humans or the stereotypical aliens) we can't say that one of their species can pop in and out of existence in other galaxies.

Ahh I'm so stoned, tired, and confused.
So let's say there's only two species in the world species A and species B. There's infinite carbon copies of both species A and species B.

Now then species A is us and species B is some other species we (hypothetically) found. We can't pop in and out of existence, so we wouldn't be able to that. But species B can pop in and out of existence into another galaxy. We would need to have the ability to pop into another galaxy in order to do that.
Honestly I don't even know what I'm talking about now, lol.

An exact carbon copy of myself wouldn't be able to come into contact with me because I can't come into contact with him.

I just didn't/don't see where carbon copies come from there being different laws of physics in different areas of the universe. I kinda thought the opposite actually.

Those two would both be possible together or by themselves. Like if there aren't any different laws of physics in the universe then we would still have carbon copies if the universe was infinite. Also if the universe wasn't infinite then we still could have different laws of physics in other parts of the universe.

As far as I know they don't have a huge impact on each other. At least not big enough of a impact to cause one of those possibilities to not exist.

Reality is reality. Individual perceptions might differ but there can only be one version that is actually correct. And you know me oly, I will never put you on ignore.

NO, i have not been able to get to it... ive been having some family stress man, my aunt is in her last days of life after fighting ovarian and uterine cancer that spread all over and then this asshole at a pc shop gave away my files to some dirt bag piece of shit asshole and now im in the process of getting it investigated as a theft crime... i got my own and client information on there, so im stressing pretty bad.. then i got like fucking 100 pages to read for american literature,, good thing i got some grapefruit killa killa kill kill smoke goodness that is God sent... other then that, its been normal...

that can be false.. i was reading an interesting article my professor sent about psychology. In this study, researchers found that most studies done in the US do not or cannot apply to the rest of world and vice versa, making them somewhat bias to the demographic. This gets me back to reality and how an individual perceives it.. Mentioning the study, I think that would support my claims about reality being very different for each individual person.?
