santasslave, you can't have them ship direct to the store (unless you make such a fuss that their f*ck-me-in-the-ass customer service policy bends to your every wish, but ship-directs take a lot longer-like at least 2 wks). You can only have them send it to your house (or any residential address of your choice), but its still <$140 if you do it with a 20% coupon (which you can sign up for on their website if you dont receive)....you can also buy it from your house at full price, and when you get a hold of coupon (no time limit, dates dont matter on coupons), bring it into any store and they will give you the value of the coupon, just bring the receipts you get with the shipment!!

I am brand spanking new to growing, period! This is my first post, I know nothing except what I have seen on here, I have started seeds in a grow box I built, (before I knew about this board of the aerogarden)I have ordered theAeroGarden (should be here soon) My questions are as follows.

1. If wanted to grow the plants for say 3 or 4 weeks in the aerogarden, then transfer them to soil, would that work? If so what is the best way to do this?
My idea is that I want them to get close to the flowering stage in the aerogarden, then switch them to soil and grow lights and let them mature a little longer (heard that will make them more potent) and then clone the best and start them in the AeroGarden and repeat the whole process again and again, until I can harvest about every 2 to 3 weeks. I am on a tight budget so getting another aerogarden, or using any other hydroponics system is out of the question, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The only problem that I can think of when transfering from hydro/aero to soil would be the strength of the roots....

Think about it.....

Its going to take more energy for a root to push through soil than it would to push through water.....So if you had roots that were established in water they would probobly be weak compared to roots that were established in soil...

I'm pretty much saying that I dont think that the roots would be able to adjust very well, if at all, to being placed in soil...

Know what I mean? It could work but just thinking about it makes me think that it wouldnt be a good idea....But hey ya never know

Peace

Hi teknique Id been following this thread since last year!!!! and last weed you guys in here really convinced me bout this AeroMiracle thing... so I bought it, as well as some indoor seeds (White Widow and Northern Light) from a famous seed bank in amsterdam so hopefully they arrive at the same time, knowing that both shipments take like 2 weeks.

Im a mayor in Microbiology and I have been growing cannabis since a while from now (3 years). So if anybody needs any counseling bout chemical methods such as nuts concentration for each stage, and almst every stage of this plant, please fell free to ask me...... at the time I get both thing (Aerogrow and seeds) I will be posting pictures so all you ppl can see my progress....

2 weeks into growing and I decided to go to 12/12.
Just to see what happens.
After the 1st week I lowered the hood right over the sprouts.
they're all about 4" and getting bushy Now.
One was too tall and skinny so I bent it over and tied it to the stem.
It went from pointing down to pointing up in a day.
Now it's like a little curvy palm tree.
I have no nutes and no HPS so I'm sort of just goofing around until I upgrade.
I have 7 plants and soon I will know how many of them are female.
then I will see just how much a 2 week old seedling can yield after 8 weeks of 12/12 on 60 watts.

You could built something like this for like $50 from hardware store parts and have the hood able to go higher for bigger finished plants anyone thought of that since this is a basic aero or bubble system?Im just a little Mcgyverish and hate full price.

I just want to know if anybody could give any type of advise.... Its been 22 days since I planted, and 7 out 7 sprouted but developed in different ways.... I have 2 plants that are like 3.5 inches tall with 4 sets of real leaves, 3 plants with 2 sets of real leaves, and 2 plants with 1.

The thing is 5 out of 7 are yellowish in the developing pair of leaves, but the keep growing as hell !... I am giving them almost 20 hours of light, and has used the AGarden nutes, cant afford to buy foxfarm stuff, I know the arent the best, but its better than nothing..... Due to this yellowish color they have Ive decided not to give them more nutes until they return to their normal green color....

Thnx!...

Peace to all

I think the aerogarden nutes cause the yellowing, get off them as soon as possible....Whats your PH?
