I'm excited to give some more experienced growers a run for their money! Don't be surprised when I'm creeping in first haha!
Im a first timer too. Im a little worried about @needsomebeans because hes growing weedzilla and i had like absolutely no plans to grow an asian sea monster that shoots fire and lightning out of its face. So i feel i might be in trouble now. Its ok because i have a few days left to come up with a new plan to grow a better large reptile monster that will just be a nice non invasive species. Im drawing some stick figure monsters right now that i think could have the potential to become bigger and better than weedzilla so well see.

So to try to stay abreast of everyone's plants and to keep it simple I've decided that for this comp I'm going to be using a 3 category, 5 point-per-category scoring system with a 1 point bonus category in an attempt to be fair. For final voting I'm working on different and extended criteria but basically the comp will be a playoff and anywhere from 50 to 75% of entrants will be eliminated from final voting and the remaining will be judged on the aforementioned additional criteria.

For now you demented fuckers will be judge on Plant Health, Photo/Imaging and Post-Worthyness/Citizenship with an added Punctuality bonus. So if you got a great plant but can't be bothered to take a decent picture, write a few words, engage with others and post on time you're gonna suffer. Get to the end of my judgement period and then your plant will get the added points as Size, Weight and Appearance categories are added, (and they will have a larger part of your final score), but having fun and having some (dis)respect for your competitors is really what the comp should be about IMHO. Also I may have a time period cutoff of 14 weeks and am thinking about a weight cap but they may complicate a process I would like to try to simplify.

So remember kiddies if you want to score some extra points with the frog please remember to occasionally take a moment out of your life to go tell Old-Yeller cheese-balls to go dry-hump an un-sanded dinner-table leg and you just may be one of the few :).

@The Dawg
Critical Mass, Hempy, Illumitex and some 4000K thrown in for luck so I don't want to hear shit, (but band/song recommendations :)), from you when it grows 3 feet tall puppy!

Careful what you wish for.....

I'll be running 4000k this run for sure. I'm not sure if the 2700k decor chips are going to make it in. I'm not even sure if they still work. I'm using old left over parts this time. Swiss cheese frame from being recycled 4 or 5 times over :P

Along with premium ziplock bagseeds and a complicated A+B nute mix, I clearly anticipate about a pound this round.

Unfortunately it looks like we are going to have to pull out (giggity) of the competition, we don't have the room, plants are filling up the tent more than we anticipated. :( Perhaps next time.

are these OK?
I think they are invisible, lol.

I'm debating running Nirvana Urban Poison vs Mixed seeds from RCMC or PeakseedsBC.

I think I'm going hydro. I bought some mini bulkhead fittings to let me pump air in and allow water to gravity feed down an air hose into the cup. I'm planning on setting a small tote/container next to the cup as the res.

I believe as long as I keep my roots inside the cup this will be within the rules, correct?

We can start germ tomorrow right?
