Thc Removal?

how do you remove the thc (keef) from the leaves? i have so many leaves that are covered in goo thc.. and i have no idea how to get it off.. i tried to roll it on my fingers and then into a ball.. but that is virtually impossible cuase its so sticky and wont come off my fingers hah.. any ideas or suggestions?

cant you just smoke it?

yeah on the buds, but not the leafs... but theres like layers of thc on the leaves and ive been told that you can take that off and make keef out of it.. but how do you do this.. ?

I dont. could you scrape it of with a razor blade or something?

Make blender hash out of it. It's easy and it works. You can find directions on how to do this on the internet.

Here's how

The blender method for making hash

Put water in a blender. Add a large handful of leaves, stems, seeds and weak weed. Put it in 3 or 4 ice cubes and blend it for 3-4 minutes or so. Just make sure everything is chopped very finely. Second, you will need a gold reusable coffee filter (or 90-line silk screen). Get a large mouth quart mason jar, and strain your Slurpee mixture through it. Once you have strained all the liquid through, run some more water through the leaf material to wash any extra trichomes through.

After a few minutes you will notice a white collection at the bottom of the jar, this is the trichomes. Let the trichomes settle at the bottom for about 20-30 minutes. Next, pour off the top 2/3's of the filtered green water, leaving the settled trichomes at the bottom. Add more ice water to get the green stuff out, and let the trichomes settle at the bottom for about 20 minutes again. Repeat this step one more time. Pour off as much water as you can without pouring off trichomes, filter the resulting trichome/water mix through a paper coffee filter. The trichomes will not go through the paper, but the water will. When all the water has gone through, slightly wet, cold, mass of trichomes will be left. They will be easy to handle and to press.

put the dried trim in a large jar or jug type vessel. stretch a piece of pantyhose over the opening and secure well. now simply turn the vessel over and shake it like a salt shaker over a large piece of clean glass. wipe the powder on the glass into a pile. scoop it up and smoke it. that is your kief.

make sure the trim is dry to use this method. you can lightly crush the trim before placing it in the shaking vessel. i just grab a handful and lightly "scrunch" it as i dump it in. not too much or you will get leaf matter in your trim.

Use it for honey oil. Very fast and easy to do and it really makes a smooth hash

i was going to mention that except i ended up with glass everywhere once. i forget what i threw in there but it shattered my jar.
knowing me though i probably used a socket or a big bolt or something.

ok cool thx... so to make it not sticky keep it cold.. got it ... that was very useful.
