Hi i smoke once a week, maybe twice occasionally for the past month and a half. Whenever i smoke i get stoned,

How long will it take for the thc to get out of my body if i workout, drink water, and not smoke it for 1 month?

im guessing 30 days?

It all depends on your metabolism, weight and how much your body has stored. It's much the same as Vitamin A and some other vitamins. It slowly excretes from your fatty cells. You could be clean in a week, or it could take a month. It's a hard thing to pin down.

thc is primarily stored in your body fat...

ive heard even if youre a heavy smoker youll be pretty much cleaned out after not smoking for a month, at least low enough to pass a test...

throw in a lot of water and working out and it might be sooner, get one of those at home drug tests nazi parents use to check their kids =p

Being fat soluble, drinking water will have no effect on the rate at which THC leaves your body. Burning fat will help in a small way but time is the only thing that really works. I'm not certain, but I think it has an average half life of seven days, meaning that if you smoke today, half the THC you managed to absorb will be gone in seven days. It should all be gone (if you don't smoke at all from today) in fourteen days.

Now, consider this. You smoke today and then don't smoke until next Saturday or Sunday. Half the THC stored in your body has gone. BUT, you have smoked again, so you have half of the THC from last weekend in your fatty cells and you've now added some more.

OK, lets throw a few random non scientific but easy to follow figures in.

Week one you get a THC level of 4 in your system (remember, this is just figures to make the understanding easier).

Next week (if you haven't smoked all week) you have 2 in your system.
But you smoke on the weekend, so you add another four into your system, making that six that is now in your system.

Next week you have three in your system, but you smoke again and now you have 7 in your system.

Next week, after you smoke again, you'll have 7.5 in your system

Now, to add to the confusion, THC levels usually plateau and sit within a certain range, depending on how much THC you've absorbed, so it's a little hard to gauge exactly when you will be 'clean'. I would take a wild guess and say that in reality, it would be feasible for there to be THC traces in your system for 30 to 60 days after stopping, depending on the THC content of the weed you regularly smoke.

So, in summary, it's really hard to calculate an exact timeframe for it to clear your system. But don't worry, even though your brain has a high concentration of fatty cells, it won't harm it. Don't believe the anti-pot bullshit. The latest studies have shown that THC and other cannibinoids do not harm brain cells, but if you have GBM brain cancer cells, it may just kill them off.

Have a look here.
