Excellent input NightbirdX, thanks for sharing your notes.
NP, I've had the PB going for about 4 grows now. Finally whittling down to keeping the BCS Dom pheno for now. I've always tried to let them do what they want, but in the SQ dom pheno you want to pick before she is too "ripe." If you let them go too long you get a heavy stone and lose the flavor and smell. But if you pick them earlier, you keep the smell and flavor, keep the high uppy, but you do lose a bit of weight. My SQ pheno is real nice, but so finicky in veg that I'm gonna let her go and come back to another set of PB later to find one. She produces some real nice towering colas. She likes to do one cola and stays real compact and short, just one big pyramid cola. I've tried topping her and the weight difference was negligible between topping and not topping. It was actually equal, so I just leave her untopped and let her do her thing.

Purple Plush is the beast. She yields really well. Has a very unique berry, floral, funk smell, which dominates what is around her, and has insane resin production. My hash runs are always higher yield with Purple Plush. The only bad thing about her is she get nanners if you push her too hard, but you just have to keep up on them and pluck them out. Never had any seeds come up though.

Nice shots and info NightbirdX. That Purple Plush is a beast for sure.

I'll be running Plush again on our next run... Love that smell and resin :-)

Not sure what pheno I have here. More of a heavier stone, but I also let them go 9 weeks, not 8. Smaller buds, darker, smells and tastes more citric. Still smells wild, but not as pure fruity as m first two. Sounda like the first two were BCS dom and the second is SQ dom, based on Nightbird's great (and helpful) summary.

I'm starting another PB run in July

What kind of leaves do they have Rrog? The BCS phenos will have super big indica leaves. The SQ phenos will have sharp thinner sativa leaves. I had another pheno that I culled after 2 runs because it just didn't yield all that well. It had the nice SQ hazy smell, but it was more watermelon, than sour candy, when it finished. The stone was pretty heavy though.

Like Hovering said, the smells and frost on plush are out of this world. I plan on doing another run of it later. I may go with 5 Plush and 5 AOS though.

Good question X. All PB has been fat leaves, so no SQ for me yet. Is the SQ variant more rare? Maybe. Anyway based on this great summary, I must have the BCS dom and any differences between batches must be because of the 9 weeks of flower vs. 8. I like the 8 week stone better.

Cool! Now I know. Thanks NBX

Actually out of the 4 females I got from the PB pack, 3 were SQ dom and only 1 was BCS dom. I had one other female that I gave to my buddy that ended up being SQ dom. SQ seems to dominate the BCS genes in the cross?

On another note, I had a batch of BHO made up out of my Plushberry trim, and sprinkled some into a Plushberry joint to test for any poisons... >.> I think we made it through half of it and I was blown out for hours, lol the flavor was soo good. The BHO smells just like the purple plush. Its awesome.

WOW. I have to say the Plushberry really develops on cure. It starts out awesome and goes someplace else.

2 months from harvest and our patients are absolutely praising Plushberry for for all day use, flavor, aroma, it has it all.

And it happens to be my favorite strain this past week. I am really enjoying it full tilt when I am usually a Cheese Quake whore.

Fuck Yeah Plushberry, glad I got to know you and that we have you in our genetic pool. :-)

NBX, that's interesting about you seeing SQ dom more frequently. All my PBs had fat, fat leaves.

Glad to hear this. Finishing my first run of PB next weekend. Only got one plant that yields well and has a beautiful purplish hue in week 8. Not overly purple though.

And next up is my recently acquired 5 pack of cheesequake :)))) stoked on these genetics

Ya that is funny. Whats also interesting is that I ran JPR from AKG at the same time and did a big "space queen hybrid" run. I saw a whole lot of SQ varieties, so I was assuming it was just a dominant genetic line. I didnt expect to see the pheno expressions that I did. I am happy with them, but I know that there are some more real gems to be found in those genetics. I may do a revisit here when i get some of my backstock ran to look for a few more good phenos. I would like to find a good stable SQ dom, but the ones I had were all good, though there was something about them that made me stop running them, whether it was yield or finicky vegging. I have seen a few on these boards that I wouldn't mind finding. I really would like to find the SQ pheno that turn purple. Mine were both more green dom with a few pink highlights.

I have 2 phenos just finishing week four of flower. Out of 15 strains i'm running for a mother search (6 TGA) PB smells the dankest. When should I expect to see some pink / purple hues? What r guys averaging for flowering time?

I've done 8 and 9 weeks. I prefer the 8 week. Seems like I saw some pink purple spotting by week 4. Have any pics?

i just chopped four plush berries. they were all space queen dom and showed no pink or purple. taken at day 52, two at 53, one at 56.

the impatience of my wife and i led to us smoking buds from the first cut after four days drying. OMFG! taste like biting into a fruit bowl!!! instant soaring, cerebral high with a nice long relaxing finish. 3 hours later im still drooling. cant wait to try her again in two weeks!!!

I cut my SQ phenos down at 50-56. I let the BCS dom pheno go 9-10. Mostly I just do what the plants tell me they want to do. What EWC dosage are you giving them Rrog? I've been using it now for the first time for around 10 days. They love it. I do Tea, water, water. They are looking like they are starting to want more now though so I'll prob move to 1/4 dose of nutes soon.

I normlly start seeing the colors on my BCS dom around week 4-6. It is hard to tell though because they get so frosty. I thought they were completely green with purple hues when i first ran it. When I cut them down is when I realized they were almost completely purple. THere was just so much damn frost. Thats a good problem to have I guess. :P

My BCS dom pheno. Floral funk smell, completely unique taste, smell, flavor. Purple as a nurple. The buds start turning completely purple at around week 3-4, leaves never turn purple though. Big broad Indica leaves.

Full PB #1 pic.jpgFull PB#1.jpgTrimmed PB#1.jpg

My SQ dom Pheno. Sour Candy hazy smell. Very little purple, but it gets this beautiful pink haze around it from the pink trichs and highlights. She builds nice towering colas. The longest i've gotten off of her is 21". The buds aren't the most dense, but they sure are pretty. She has thinner sharply serrated leaves. They start to taco up when she is finishing, like a venus fly trap.
