alright, the stage is set....transplanted into 5 gal smarties, gentle LST using velcro, and supercrop with no topping, all are very happy in an average of 60% super soil, 40% (cooked) roots....i will only give these girls a few days to get some roots rockin' ....then flip......they are under two 400 blue....then two 600 red...yield is not really important, just looking for dank, and experimenting with a new LST method, and pure super soil/h2o only.......also very stoked for some vortex sativa medication...... i only got 1 AOS girl, but she is really pretty....my early fav.....they are all very healthy......nugs

for those wondering about super soil %.........i can say from heaviest to lightest feeders goes like this so far, looking at how they are responding to the super soil........ qrazytrain, vortex, flav, aos..........the aos is a pretty light feeder, she is showing the slightest tip burn at about 55% ss........also when they were in 2 gal. hard pots, @ 30% ss....all showed some container stress/purple stem.....too much, too soon....they are much happier in their flower pots!

Looking good NB's...loving the velcro by the way. I think I bought the same stuff I see in your pics. I started doing everything with that stuff, seeing I dont run Co2 yet I'm always changing and upgrading my venting system that has to be able to be pulled apart fast for a quick take down and install, instead of the decorative chain I was using I started to replace it all where possible with the velcro on the flex runs. Much easier and cheaper, its moving up on my list of must haves for ghetto rigging almost to duct tape status....good chit...

Have I missed the details of your "velcro technique"? Love to see pics.

I use wire "hooks" to LST my plants and find them very effective.

i am in the midst of getting these girls trained....stay tuned, and i will update my progress.....i also use coated electrical wire, but with hard side pots with holes drilled.....then when i transplant to smarties, i switch to velcro...

Nice nugbuckets! Just read the thread, can't wait to see what comes in the future. In particular I'll be watching the Vortex :D. You mentioned you thought your plants were too deep of a green I think on page 2, is there a downside that much super soil? Thanks man! would rep you but I can't again yet lol

i used too much supersoil, rookie mistake....the aos and qt have come out of the heat, but the vortex and flav are sputtering a bit....they should be fine, but i set them back a few days...one of the vortexes came out of it like a bat out of hell...so that is promising.....word to the wise....just do exactly what sub does....duh......i will snap some new pics when they start thriving.....
