TGA Dairy Queen and Vortex Grow Review

Anyone have any feedback on growing TGA VORTEX, or TGA DAIRY QUEEN?? I wanted to know if they burn easy or need to be easy on the nutes. I use Advanced Sensi 2 part and I am getting ready to switch to the PH perfect. The TGA Ace Of Spades you can just hog the nutes heavy to her. I ran max dose all through flower without 1 sign of nute burn. Anyone with any pointers to growing these strains or if they like lots of nutes or not. I know to start with a small amount but I just was hoping to learn a little bit about them before they were started.
Let me know
If you havn't grown TGA AOS then you should try to get your hands on some. I love it..Big colas..feed the nutes heavy to her and the smell of fruity pebbles. love it ha
Let me know
Thanks

also I wanted to ask..I got 3 Vortex popped from a seed and I have had them in soil for about a month now or so. I wanted to asked about the Vortex Pheno.. I have 2 that are the same size and 1 vortex is a little bastard. Its growing and doing healthy but much shorter than the other 2. Anybody weigh in on the short vortex?

Dairy queen: medium feed-high feed depending on how dominant the cheese is, the more spacequeen dom the less you have to feed. some can handle a heavier feed.

Vortex: medium feeder, i feed all the way until cut, no real flushing before cutting, just a light feeding of molasses and bud candy. flowers haven't shown any negative side effects, smoke quality remains the same.

Has anyone had the small vortex? Or any info on how it grows. Haha its small. Im having a hard time trying to clone the small girl but no problems with the other tall vortex. Just weird.
Thanks for reply fellas

I grew a few different Vortex phenotypes, and one of them was definitely on the small side...but MAN was it dank!! Tasted like rotting mango candy mixed with roadkill skunk and baby poo. I had it tested at 21.89 % THC. I was never really able to over feed her and as it was more on the Apollo side of things....she liked N until half way thru budding to prevent an early fade. Here is a pic of that pheno, I named it "Skunkpoo"

Hey. I'm growing four Vortex right now, with about 12 clones right behind. I guess I have two different phenos. One is the runty one you speak of, pretty slow to veg it seems. Tiny little leaves. But it buds get big and pretty quickly too. Looks like Cindy 99 to me a little. The other one is a more normal stout looking indica with more golf ball shaped nugs. The golf ball shaped nug one is about 2 weeks behind the runty cindy 99 looking one. From what I've read, I think the runty Cindy 99 looking one with small leaves if the preferrable pheno. Here's some picture. Two phenos couldn't be more different. White balance is all messed up for the HPS 1kW obviously, Lightroom only made it worse. But they came out ok.

small runty leaved one first:

More robust indica looking one with golf ball nuggets. (two weeks behind the other one).

wow cindy99 looks awesome. I dont know what the sex is of the taller vortex or the sex of cindy99 runt vortex are yet. I will find out in a couple weeks what taller vortex is but Im having a hard time taking clones off the runt?? No problems taking them and getting them to root from the taller one, just the runt.
Awesome pics justanotherhead. Did you have to feed them different? Cindy99 heavy nutes and taller vortex lighter on nutes??
Thanks Guys

I've harvested DQ twice now (started from seed) I had 3 fems and 2 males, all 3 fems were different.

DQ 1 had a saliva look and grew to medium size, buds were not very dense but the smell and flavor of snapple lemonade, I love this smoke it's just a small yielder and going to work a couple crosses to try to keep her smell and flavor but increase yield. Will be hitting her with a Bubblegum male assuming I get one out of an 11 pack lol, and thinking about hitting her with Dynamite male, I don't have any beans of Dynamite (tude was out last time I ordered) but I would love to see this crossed with the Dynamite I have a clone I grow it's so pungent and a big yielder.

DQ 2 Sativa dome, super stretched in flower but grew big cola's, and super sticky, the smell is Cheese, think Sativa dom Cheese. I didn't keep this one, though it was really potent and yielded big my DQ 4 was similar in taste and yield but much shorter and I have a small canopy. This one smelt of the cheese but grew 2ft taller than the DQ 4 and about a foot taller than DQ 1.

DQ 4 Stout indica, stretches only about 50 - 100%, buds are medium in size but dense, much denser than the DQ 1. This one is ideal for oils / tincture as the leaves are coated, even upper fan leaves, with crystals. Very skunk cheese taste, you will need something to scrub your air with this girl and even after harvest, just leaving the jars open for 5 min in cure fills my whole kitchen with funk. Very hard to smoke in a joint unless you get it uber dry!!

I had a lemon pheno and an apollo pheno of vortex.

Vortex is very easy to grow, can handle nutes, and is stable. I apparently had temps in the high 80's or higher and didnt realize it, and the only strain that didn't hermie or freak out was Vortex.

I thought the lemon pheno was stronger, the apollo pheno was very clear headed, it just didn't have the raw potency that I wanted like the lemon pheno did.

Ultra dank either way, I highly recommend Vortex, and will be growing it again, and keeping it around.
