I dont know what happened to this thread cuz I posted on like pg 205 and now were back to pg 193. Anyways if you had seen my last post I had crossed out a Male Jilly Bean "orange Pheno" with a bunch of other strains. This was a 100% organic grow but unfortunately I made many mistakes along the way. Even Subcool called me out on one of them and was very nice to explain why I F'd up. The plants still came out very nice, but I can't say these plants reached their full potential cuz they didn't. But the grow gave me a nice idea of the types of phenos to look for when I take these new strains outside.
The first to finish was this beauty Male JB X Female DP. I have another plant of this cross still finishing up, but its no where near as good as this one IMO. The outcome of this cross/pheno was a plant that leaned toward the JB dad resembling a bigger structure than the DP mom and also carries that orange smell. I also have two jilly beans going one orange pheno and one candy pheno and the orange smell on the JB is a very bold orange while the orange smell on this JB x DP is more of a creamsicle/sweeter orange and not as heavy as the JB. The yields are on the smaller side resembling DP yet slightly greater than DP. The one feature that seperates this plant from the rest is the amount of resin it packs. Idk if its because the THC glands are very long, but this plant just packs on resin like no other. The best way I can describe it, is that this plant is just fuzzy looking. All leaves were just encrusted in resin and is highly recommended for hash making. The strain is very uplifting and good for nausea/anti depressant. Just like JB this is like the best day time meds as you will be up, alert, and feeling great. To be honest I hated this cross all together until like week 6 of flower when all the beauty of this plant came out. Sub, if your out there, I def think Mz. Jill would love this cross.
