this morning i was drenching/flushing my plants and noticed a nanner. i kno what these fuckers look like cause my last grow i had hundreds and had no idea what they were and y i was getting seeds lol. learn by your mistakes no?
so yea i found ONE nanner on one bud on one plant only. tbh this is my least favorite pheno too, it doesnt have no where near the same smell and resin production as the other two. BUT it does have fatter buds...
P1000686.jpgP1000684.jpg
i then checked every bud on all the plants thoroughly. all was good. now i understand that female mj plants will throw out nanners as a form as survival when they are flowered for to long and/or because of light leaks. this is a new room i just built before this grow and on top of my list was making sure there was zero light leaks. there are none.
flowered to long? its on day53 and trics are mostly cloudy with barely any amber. i dont think so...? i was planning on chopping all 3 plants this weekend at around day 55-58. i decided to pull this plant and leave the other 2 in the flower room.
i plan on leaving it in a dark closet for the rest of today and chop 2morrow afternoon.

is this the correct course of action?
im sorry for posting this in this thread, kinda fucking up the good vibes in here but iv been posting in this thread since i started flower, i think its only right that i show my mistakes as well. i must correct them. any help would be greatly appreciated.

matatan,
1st off, beautiful jilly pics! Just thought I'd tell ya what I do. In the last 10 days or so when some strains like to throw a nanner or two (I had a great Vortex pheno that would throw maybe 1 or 2 right at the end) it pretty much doesn't matter in my experience as you are so close to chopping....but just to make myself feel better I just take a pair of tweezers and a ready shot glass of water, pluck the little fella out of there, and instantly plunge the tips of the tweezers still holding onto the nanner into the water, killing any viable pollen that is there. I don't really worry about them much when I see them now. Take care and enjoy that harvest!

nice i pretty much did the same thing! 1st i took the plant out of the room, took my girls tweezers and plucked it off and with a paper towel cleaned it off. thanx man, now i know water will do the trick.
i feel better now.... i was kinda freaking out lol

Others may have different ideas of what to do. At least it is on the pheno you said wasn't as funky as the others. Once again, great pics that canopy is solid!

Probably sterile anyways if its a single rogue nanner.

Got 3 on 1 bud when reveggin my plushberry, plucked em off and haven't seen anymore.

Id let her finish flowering, just keep an eye on em and pluck em if more pop up. I wouldn't chop early for 1 nanner.

I love my Qrazy Train. I smoke it and i'm done in a euphoric stupor. I love that high and i'm glad I got more than an ounce left of it all to myself. TGA Subcool is the best gear if you grow to smoke. If you grow to sell you may want something with more yield and less of a worthwhile high. But if you smoke your grow, TGA Subcool is awesome.

My crazy train is earthy and musky and grapey in a way that tastes like champagne to me. I can't get enough of it. I can't believe it came out the same time as cheesequake. I'll never grow cheesequake again but I'll definetly grow QrazyTrain! Qrazy Train is the high I love. :) Great work.

I was thinking about ordering some TGA gear soon and am wondering what your favorite strains are? I was looking into Querkle for a nice strong smell and taste. Also I have seen some Chernobyl pictures on here a bunch and they seem to have a really high trichome production.
Any suggestions?

Do NOT miss out on Vortex.

and once again i'm smoking my Qrazy train. I scooted my few bowls left of one strain to get this QT nug so I could smoke it again. I love the high and taste off this. Its not as candy as other subcool strains but has a musky champagne sparkly wine flavor which I love. the High is fantastic I feel like a million bucks and I don't want to leave this spot. Big ups on Qrazy Train its much better than I expected it to be. It solves my digestion issues no prob and the euphoria is awesome. Either I got an awesome pheno with this one plant or Qrazy Train is simply awesome. Very Medical and very EUPHORIC. The Euphoria is like a spoon full of sugar that helps the medicine go down. I'd smoke this if I didn't have stomach problems.

I had a mold scare with my vortex, now at day 20. The stems were looking all white and fuzzy, so I checked them with a 30 power loop. It was not mold, but trichomes forming on the stems, between buds. Pretty cool for day 20

Put one of my three Plush Berry Seeds into flower, I cant wait to see what it turns out like! It's in Roots 707 being fed Jungle Juice and Bud Candy. Sorry not going organic right now. It's in a 3 gallon pot, I waited until it was showing female all over before I touched her at all! I've only removed what you can see in the picture. I waited until they rooted and put her into flower. She is doing great! About 2 weeks into flower, I'd check the calendar but I'm laying down right now. Hope you don't hold the non-organic against her, it's my fault!
