Anyone have good results with Locomotion? I got a few beans going from may, so far so good. Lost one to weak stem early in its life cycle, more so my fault. And one has been extremely slow. Hasn't shown sex yet, but really dank in veg state. Will update.

Your argument is full of fallacies, just because you spent a certain amount of money on the company doesn't take away from the fact that there are other companies where you can run just one seed and be blown away. I have grown plenty of TGA strains even from clone, though they all had a unique flavor or scent they didn't hit home like tons of other shit I have grown.

I am not the only one who believes this, there are plenty of people out there you just have to open your eyes and fanboy it to someone who hasn't grown half of their lineup.

I am all cool with Sub and Jinxproof, I think they are decent guys and do a fine job for the community. They do a lot of good for the world and that is why I support them. If they had shit that blew me away with one run I would be singing praises
maybe i didnt explaint something right. i grow more than just tga subcool strains. i just grow more more tga strains than others. it doesnt matter the company, anytime you buy more seeds you have a better chance of getting a better pheno. reason why i started getting 5 or 10 packs instead of just 3 single ones. i have got lucky though. had just a single female chernobyl. got lucky it was a homerun. a little different than the other chernobyl i see around. had the same thing happen with other companies even free ones. thought some free autos even had some of the best fruity flavor. the thing is it just so happen to be luck of the draw for me where a single female chernobyl still has the biggest demand for clones. her genetics are getting old be seem to be keeping hella strong. i didnt like deep purple but maybe it was a bad luck of the draw that time.

Try anything breed by heroes of the farm or home grown natural wonders. Imo those are / were the best tga strains. Quantum kush and locomotion are dank. My opinion of 9lb hammer has changed but I am burnt out on that strain though. But quantum , I can't get enough of. It has like a sour / kush flavor. Very similar to gorilla glue. Big yielder and a very strong upper sativa. There's an indica pheno too. I kept the sativa pheno. I like it more.

With tga you have to run the clones. Different better traits come out in the clones that are not present in the plants from seed. I've seen them improve 10 times over in clone form.

Now anything that's a direct space queen cross. I don't like. They're less stable. And bugs love them. The ones that have been crossed a couple times with multiple strains. Those shitty traits from space queen get breed out also I'm in the dry desert. Those may be more ok in norcal or oregon where it's more humid regularly and more rain. I have a theory on breeding in certain environments vs the stability in other environments.

Out here in the desert there's mites and white flies everywhere outside locusts too. . Those space queen crooses get devoured within a few days no matyer what you use. The landscapers at the Polo fields told me they spray their flowers and grass with simple green to kept the pests away. I have to have a bunch of mint and rosemary around all my outdoor to keep the bugs away. I won't use simple green.. that natural mistik I uses repels pests pretty well too. I also don't flower anything outside til at least october. It's too hot during the summer. It's never below a 100 degrees during the day.i just keep them in veg and with veggies this time of year I just grow herbs. Nothing that produces fruits.
thats why i like growing where it's cold as fuck and can actually use the heat from the hps. i honestly hate summer grows with acs and shit. i usually just toss seeds and let them grow wild. outdoors i have yet to see anyone compare in quality in this area compared to indoors. maybe alaska wouldnt be so depressing. i like playing god and slapping mother nature around a bit.

no mites so i never spray my plants with anything. spend a lot of money on heat in the winter and i never get mildew.

Maybe you are right about buying multiple packs to find a keeper but to me if I have to buy more than one pack just to find a plant that I feel is quality than I would rather go with other companies whom don't make me spend 400 bucks for a keeper plant. We all have different experiences but out of all the strains from TGA I have tried the only thing shining through from them is flavor and trichomes. I am really sad to say that the apollo 13 bx is one of the ugliest plants in the room, nice and fluffy with little substance to them.

TGA just isn't my cup of tea, I prefer more worked lines rather than polyhybrids that give you more of a chance to not get a winner.

Agent Orange was the only one that really stood out to me, Jillybean was alright. Chernobyl was tasty but lacked in the weight dept by far, 9lb hammer was unstable as shit. Jack Skellington was an alright version of a g13 mix. I could keep going on and on it just seems like whining at that point.

Not all plants are going to like my environment and I understand that but I do expect at least a B- plant for spending 15-20 a seed.

^ This made me think of my first seed purchase, ever. Got a 10 pack of Reeferman Seed's 'SugarWarp'. The one pheno would get tiny dots of tricomes on the small fan leaves of rooted clones, never experienced that again w/ any other strain. I didn't bud inside back then(only veg) but guerilla grew these outdoors and I can honestly say I haven't seen that much resin on an outdoor plant or inside. I had no idea what was going on back then and just thought it was 'cool', figuring they all did that. And yeah, I lost it.

Came across this pic of the first time I ran Vortex...
Can you provide some information on Vortex? I have 3 females that are all different. I have read most of the stuff out there, and I'm going to grow all of them out a couple times, but is the "poo" smelling one supposed to be stronger than the lemon smelling one? I have 2 shorties, and a lanky one. All are only at day 29. One of the shorties is very sweet, lemony smelling, short inter-nodes, and fuzzy as hell everywhere. The lanky one isn't really funky, but isn't fruity either (i don't know that I'd say it's poo...lol), and the third is smack dab in the middle of the two.

I have no idea if the poo smelling one is stronger....you'll have to tell us! :) I grew out 20 of them and most of them were lemon and the one I've kept is almost like perfume and sweet canalope maybe w/ maybe just a tad of lemon underneath. Great day time smoke.

It'll be a sacrifice I make for science...lol. I don't know that I've tried to compare anything so close to each other before. I'll have to sit down with a stop watch at the same time of day, same fullness on stomach, etc. It may prove to be fun! It will have to be something very special for me to keep it around. The other two just kick its' butt in terms of structure. And if that little one ends up tasting anywhere NEAR as good as it smells... :hump:.

i honestly have yet to try growing a lot of the tga strains, just have the seeds for now. i find all companies you will find good and bad seeds or strains. i dont really like to judge by just 1 seed. i've had some decent luck with tga subcool though and several pages back i have test results.
