Looks intriguing but it's a willie event, not a 4/20 event. i doubt it is seriously going to be 420 friendly tho the concert later sounds like it could be... don't forget we're in austin... smoking is verboten!!! they got the big smokeout coming next month but just surprised there's not something bigger on 4/20 itself.

LOL if you think that the dedication being on 4/20 is a coincidence you haven't been paying attention :P granted there will probably be limited puffing @the event but it IS in the spirit of the day. What about the reggae fest?

Seriously, this is austin... not verboten ~ hidden....try vaping :P or a medible

or just get elevated on Doug Sahm hill :eyesmoke:

LOL! There is no guessing about it I don't see it ever being legal here unless the supreme court mandates it through a right of privacy (dream of that day.. heaven forbid we own our own bodies and aren't wards of the state with only the freedoms they choose fit to grant us). I think we'll see cities like Austin where it is semi-decriminalized/minimally enforced for possession but that's it... growing forget about it it's nazi land. That's why I'm getting the hell out as soon as I can before they throw me in jail -- I *LIKE* to grow for myself, but if I got busted they'd treat me like any other person growing to sell it. It's fucking insane and I'm not sure how anyone calls what we have here "justice" when it comes to marijuana laws. I bet more than half the people here don't really give that much of a shit about it but only a small portion of those would ever vote yes on legalization.

Maybe never is a strong word. I do think it'll get legalized or greatly decriminalized between 20-40 years from now -- basically when the older generation dies off. People my age and down the majority are for legalization and it grows the younger the person is. It might happen in other states but not in Texas... at least til the next generation or two kick the bucket and can't vote anymore.

I think TX would keep it illegal even if feds legalized it
Yup that's what I'm saying... even if the supreme court said it was up to the states, tx would be one of those states that kept it illegal... might change in a generation or two but it ain't happening any time soon that's for sure... that's why i'm getting out while I can. That plus the heat :) Have never reconciled myself to it despite living here all my life other than 2 or 3 years.
