Its all about pressure . Negative pressure in your pollen room with a seperate exhaust usually did the trick for me, sucks all those pollen particals right outside then up, up n away. I used to have two big 4x4 pollen rooms right next to each other alternating which one was dropping pollen and a 6x4 test room all in a 15x15 room. The two pollen rooms had high negative pressure exhauseted through a filter when pollen was present and the tester room had positive pressure coming into it. This allowed me to keep all the pollen going outside and no pollen interferring with my tester room. The positive pressure came from the house through a filter. I cooled my lights by inducting from a seperate room running it through my lights than sent back into the ducts for heating!! Just an idea if you wanna try another round. Also alternating the tester room on at night and pollen on during the day helps with cross contamination.

Happy pollen chucking Chef

We've been running through land race genetics looking for some new P1 gems.

Here is one we are really excited about:

Afkansastan x Talk of Kabul by Bodhi

A beautiful combo of pure Afghani genetics...this is from Bodhi's F1 stock. We're planning to run F2's and select males for a project GreenPeak is working on.

There are a several pheno's of this. Here is female pheno A

Blessings to Bodhi for more excellent work.

Speaking of kabul, my friend spent six months there... Brought back some interusting stories and some thought provoking pictures too. Lots of guns and tea... People standing inside the engine bays of cars fixing them in the middle of traffic... People smiling, a lot of those pics... Even though life seems to be a shade less comfortable there, everyone seemed to be smiling.. Even the mujaheddin guys (fighters)... Its was very cool.. I'd love to go someday.

So it is actually Afkanistan...not Afkansastan. Pulled out the seed pack and saw I was butchering the name of the mom cut.

Here are a few more pics of the Afkanistan x TOK from Bodhi. This is female pheno C.

I've been dreaming of these girls lately and brainstorming some ideas of what other little side projects I could go on. Possibly an alien tech cross or my 4SD from Rez??? IDK maybe a berry strain as well mmmm I love breeding! What are you guys thinking you'd like to see with an afy?

^^^The Alien Tech is also Afghani, so that might be nice. We'll have to make sure we know where those genetics came from though...I have seen very reliable posts saying that line is dead and was never released. It is probably Alien Dog or some other offspring of that line. Do you know where it came from GP?

Bodhi mentioned the TOK side has a berry terpene profile and the Afkanistan has a pina-colada profile. We can check out some of the F2 males and work a berry male with something else berrylicious if you want. Maybe one of the Bubblegum phenos?

So many possibilites...

Ya the alien is from a local shop and it is a Sour Alien ( Sour D x Alien Tech). Sorry for the mix up I worded that poorly didn't mean to lead on that we had an Alien tech cut but just that we have an alien tech cross but anyway...The samples I have gotten from the mom I'm interested in are amazing, the resin production is off the charts and every smoke report I have recieved is that it's a knock out punch one bowl in. Super potent meds that just need a heavier yield is what I am hearing from the few growers who have been playing with her. If we worked this cut it would be to develope a very potent, high cannibinoid content strain for patients with very intense pain.

I was thinking the same thing with that bubblegum, work a nice F2 back on that selected pheno #4 go a different direction rather than high potency go for intense sweet flavor?? maybe both pending the THC tests on that Bubblegum

One of the very few DNA Genetics strains still available in non-feminized form: Kandy Skunk (OG Kush x Trainwreck x Heirloom Skunk). .

I was wandering thru this thread when what you said got my attention. I have a question: Do the non-feminized, regular seed, if it turns out to be a female have better THC potential than the feminized versions?
Just curious...nice pics.

interesting question to my knowledge the regular seeds would not have any more THC content persay but more genetic variability which could translate to more THC potential because of the many different phenos you could un-earth if you start digging into the genetics. When you feminize a plant or S1 a plant it is a self pollination so both sets of chromosomes come from the same plant lowering your genetic variablity. This can be good and bad depending on how you look at it. Good by lowering the work required to find the pheno the breeder selected and bad if you want to find a rare pheno in say an F2 generation that may have higher THC levels than the breeder lists on the info sheet.

So to some it up if you compare the same pheno's one feminized and one normal the THC levels will probably be very similar. Yet if you wanted to dig into a strains genetic make up, in the F2 generation of seeds you could probably find a super high THC level pheno of that strain. The F2 generation is crucial because it has the most genetic variation
