how did termites get into the pots?

indoor or outdoor grow?

if they are in your pots your problems are bigger than what you
may realize.

Well they are in the pots... indoor... The girls are in the last week of flower but I need to know that I can control this problem in the future...Not sure how they made it in there

Put up some pics. I can't see termites just appearing in your plants.
Lokie is right, if they actually are termites, you got probs man!

Dont have a camera atm to put pics up... However I have been lookin at these lil guys for a couple hours and referencing pics on the net and its definatly termites... No idea how they got in the room to begin with... Is there any plant safe treatment that has been proven to work and not harm plants? they are all concentrated at the surface of the soil and just beneath the soil... I did a final flush last night and like 200 of them ran out of the soil to higher ground on the rim of the container...Seems to be concentrated on just a few hopefully

Termites are most likely from a nearby wall or foundation. If termites have been in a pot long enough they will burrow into the stems and continue to feed on plants while they are drying. Since MJ has hollow stems there is no telling how far they will go. All pots and entire area has to be cleaned to remove eggs. House needs to be treated for termites.

Thanks for the advice guys! George, what would you recomend treating my house with??? As far as the tents they are in... They will be bombed with insect bombs then disinfected and bleached before the next lineup of girls is introduced into the same environment. Must find where they are coming from tho...

Yeah it would be weird for termites to be in your plants and not effecting any other part of your home.. If u have termites in your house dont waste any time, they get nasty in a hurry.. if your plants are near finished just water them heavily and scrape off the top inch of soil and you should be fine since you said they came to the top when you flushed.. There's always a biological solution, predatory insects are always the most organic solution to infestations. Pot is proof that organic shit tastes better.. Good luck dude

In California, termite treatment usually involves throwing a tent around the entire house, then pumping in some sort of Final Solution (effectively a war gas). The tent is in the house, which is in a tent! Create "yo dawg" meme here. cn
