Tent Temperature

Alright so I only have 2 girls (autos) Tent been around 86 which is okay but I want it in the 75 range I want to say that’ll make them more dense. So I just wanted some experienced take, if I put a fan ontop of the tint where ducting would usually be would it work as a good way to push some of the warm air out? I also have a small clip fan for air circulation. As of now I’m cracking the tent during the on time to let some heat escape but I’ve only got to 86.

By the purple can I guess you are using LED? having big heat issues with a blurple means there could be an issue. Open all the upper vent holes. And also, make the air holes as easy to flow through as possible, so keep them short. Also open the bottom vent holes.

Where to put the fan- don’t just place it on the top of the tent, that could be danger. I have put regular fans beside the bottom vent holes and sucked air into the tent that way, the hot air at the top will be pushed out the top.

You could take that clip on fan and have it point streight up and out the top tent hole. And have the fan on the ground pulling air inwards.

Use a burning incense stick to watch the path of smoke to get your air suction/flow most efficient.

if I put a fan ontop of the tent where ducting would usually be would it work... probably but why dont you just get an exhaust fan and run some ducting out the tent and out a window to exchange the air correctly. also you can only cool your tent temps to what ever temps the room the tent is in.

if your room is already 86 you will never get the inside of your tent lower then that

My house is typically 70. I’m in a closet as well so the window and ducting is kind of a no go and I’m trying to stay pretty discreet with it. I think I’ll get some more fans pushing the air around, it’s just it’s a small grow (2x2) every inch counts. Don’t want any of my leaves growing or getting caught in those fans!

Thats 30c whats wrong with that? Your leaf temp is prob around 26c so its probably near perfect.

If keeping things low key is a must then i would highly suggest getting / making yourself a carbon filter and exhaust, the negative preassure created will drag colder air from outside of the enviroment, get rid of the smell and push the air wherever you want it to go, for a small grow back into the same room is not usually a issue.
