My old lady and I recently bought a "Rubbermaid Garment Closet" similar to this one
And I instantly thought...GROW TENT! with some modifications to it of course. Was thinking of working with CFL lights still because of possible heat issues, I don't want to risk the tent catching on fire if something were to go wrong with the lights or fans.
Let's not worry about number of lights or anything like that right now, I was going to sow on some Panda Film to the inside to each individual piece so the tent won't let light shine through it or anything.
I want to somehow I guess put a piece of plexi glass on top of the bar section that holds the clothes so I can have a clone chamber in the top of this. While still being able to use the light for clones and the bigger plants through the plexi glass.
I would have an intake fan at the bottom of the tent as well as a exhaust fan at the top of the main chamber to help with heat issue possibilities, as well as just an exhaust fan in the clone chamber.
Has anyone ever used one of these for a grow tent or know if this is a good idea or not? I am hoping to use a set up like this for my next grow so I can add a couple more plants and have more room, my dresser right now just isn't big enough, thinking of using that for a mother plant chamber.
