Tent or box?

Wondering what would be the best choice to dry in with smell being the biggest concern.
I'm thinking something like a 2x4x4 or a 3x3x4. I was going to duct it into another tent with a scrubber. Sound good? I could go either way, card board box is cheap. I like the idea of a small tent with a 4 inch fan and scrubber just for drying, but it seems a little over board.

In the long run a tent is a better investment, you will have better results with less problems. More Yield And you can reuse it if you get a bigger space. Good luck bro.

what he said ,mrbelvedere nailed it ,i came across a problem with my plants in germ stage and had to pop some more ,my other 4 are about 18 in tall and i realized i dont have room for veg and flower so i broke down bought one of the tents 4x2x60in going to put the 5 bubbleious in there until ready to flower ,so you never no when you might need one .i use it for drying in the end you no

I went ahead and got another tent with a filter. Another tent won't hurt anything. Thanks guys for your input.

go to bcnorthernlights.com get urself a bloombox, i bought 1 a year ago and it paid itself off in 3 harvests i get 1/2 lb off 9 plants on the blloomside every 50-56 days..and they come with everything, nutrients rockwool, crabon filters,everything all u need is seeds and water..a little pricy but itll last a lifetime and as i said pays itself off quick, after that all profit..

Did anyone who responded actually read beyond the title of the thread? He was asking what to dry in and everyone was telling him what to grow in except oldshol.... Haha.

If I was going to pick one over the other I'd go with a good tent. I don't dry in a tent or a box though. I just hang mine up in the basement with an oscillating fan. I'm not concerned about smell either as I have no neighbors. I'm actually happy when I go down stairs and get a big whiff of goodness.

Nice! There's no way I could pull off open drying in my garage. I'm literally growing right under my neighbors noses. It's nice having the ocean in my back yard but these houses are right on top of each other. Got a little back yard so I'm one of the lucky ones.

I recently built a dry box. Big box from Amazon. I put a carbon filter in it attached to a 4" duct fan. Shit, here's a thread on it:

In any case, it works great and is easy for me to move around. I make a lot of concentrates and it also works great for when I want to get my bud bone dry for extraction...
