My room sometimes feels like a sauna but it doesn't affect much they still do fine. I just try to keep the door open and it helps.

Yeah my temps have climbed up to around 85F now, with this weather, and my AC crapping out. They should be fine still - just make sure you have plenty of air cirrculation.

is this an indoor grow but outside/shed? i had the same problem recently, got a stanley blower mad cheap at walmart and fitted a duct attachment to it and sealed the unit. dropped my temps like 10 degrees and only cost 50$. i used it as an exhaust as i have herd its better to push out more air then intake bc inc ur exhaust will allow more natural airflow thur the intake

I imagine there's some sort of bell curve that describes MJ plant growth under different temperatures.

From what I understand, ~75-78 degrees F is the optimal temperature. Above or below the optimum, you'll get reduced growth.

But the question is, how much growth do you lose? I'm speculating that at 85, growth loss isn't that much, assuming you have good air circulation, sufficient watering, proper nute cycles, etc. Maybe you only lose a few grams.

I'm guessing when you get into the territory of 95 degrees F is when you start losing growth.

Marijuana is a weed, and grows great in all sorts of hot places.

My temps are at 95... But I run Co2 :)
Hey ClosetGrowth...hows it. I have plans to add an excellofizz Co2 puck every day for the last 4 weeks of flowering. Within a space of 10x10x8 they say it's around 1000 ppm. I have temps of 79-80 degrees atm but the heat is gonna go up drastically soon, up to probably 90-92 degrees. do you think that with this cheapo Co2 setup my plants will withstand these temps? I would think so eh? ( btw I'm not jackin this thread, this info is for the starter of this thread also, bc he can use these pucks to maintain good growth and boost yield) they cost approx. 120 Cdn dollars per 4 weeks ~ BCbuddy :leaf:

my leaves point up and my temps are at like 70-75 plants are verry healthy and seem to be doing fine

squirt bottle.... spray the leaves once in the morning... Make sure you leave time for the leaves to dry before sunrise and then do another spray 15-20 minutes before the sun goes down so you know your plant has enough water in the stock to provide the leaves a little more protection on them hot days. But try not to over water after all it is a weed. =:)

depending on the strain, some plants cannot grow if your temps are over 90degrees. a good 8 or 10" centrifugal fan hooked up a duct venting out of your room will drop the temp by about 10 degrees. also air cooled hoods are awesome at keeping temps low. all of these suggestions cost quite a bit of money to get set up. the cheapest one out of all of them is by finding a nice used centrifugal fan, & venting out

i ordered some co2 tablets... i believe you add these ones to the water and so the roots get the co2 directly

sounds good to me :)
