well in my experiance temp from 70` f to 90` f is optimal over 90 f the plants stop growin. humidity should be between 40 to 60% i like around 50%. to high humidity and u run risks of mold and powdery mildew both a real pain in the ass. hope this may help

He posted the same question twice that was the reason for the delete request.

I was LOL @ the fact that this site isnt blocked for him (I assume school or library).

I can see hes not a nOOb and he said hes looked around.

I just didnt want to plagurize Widows work and he explains tempature very well.

DONT BE A JERK AND CALL ME ONE or I'll... I'll...

Work hu; that sucks.

Well at least you have the net to play on.

P.S. If stuff is blocked be carefull cruisin at work, its probably loged as well. Basicly dont give them a reason to review your usage; could be bad.

yeah work sucks with out the internet and my x box i wouldnt make it through the day. lol. the filter is on there cuz we have imature high school kids that like my space and porn witch = virus so everyone suffers. but i dont think they care we are allowed to smoke it at work. but back to my plants i turned the humidity down from 70 to 55 and my big plant grew about 1in over night, on other one had noticble growth as well. thanks for the advice everyone.

There is a humitiy reader on alot of thermostats. Preaty easy to find at your local retailers.

Humidity can be changed by
Up:
Place a dish of water with a large surfface area in the room
Down:
Circulating the air.
Make sure theres no open water containers in the room.

ive got a 1000w hps . last summer i had it and temps hit in the 90s. bad.humidity was like 65 -75. i got powder mildew. so i now have a 4" inline fan hooked to the hood and i got glass for it. so the temps were 75 -78 in the day about 68 at night, the hum was 46%. i just installed an 8" 747 cfm fan on a speed control in my ceiling. now the temp is at 73 and the humidity is at 33 percent. the plants responded very well within the past three days of the new fan and i havent had powder mildew in 2 grows . ventilation is the key high humidity is bad low humidity makes denser buds and more resin per pistil.
