techniques for growing indoors

im growing in my tv cabinet with one of those twisted lights i have 8 pounds of dirt and some time release firtirlizer called expert gardener it feed for 6 months :weed: and its 17-17-17 and how much baking do i have to put in the soil to raise the ph level and hom much vinger do i have to put in it 2 lower it and if u got any techniques send them to me and im kinda workin wit $26.00 so keep it simple

baking soda and vinegar sucks ass as ph adjusters. They are not consistent and dont hold the ph at the adjusted level permenatly. In other words spend the 7bucks for ph down.

My local shop has fox farms soil that's pretty much ready to go for 10bucks a bag I'd stay away from non organic fertilizer, especially time release because your going to wanna flush out all that shit in your last step if growing before harvest.
