TDS Meter Question

ok so i have decided that it is about time to get me a ppm meter considering the fact that my plants seem to die when i start feeding them. i was just wondering what the resolution was? i figured it was what unit it goes by like a resolution of 10 would count by tens. but then some1 said the x 10 means that like if it says a ppm of 130 then it is actually 1300. any clarification earns my thanx n a + rep

yeah whoever told you that is right from 0-999 its normal. BUT the screen to small to fit 4 numbers so, you get the 10x. so reading is 130 an your see 10x or its flashing then it would be 1300. Your spot on mate. GL Happy Growing
