Does it matter if i have tall plants or not ? Can i get the same amount from a small plant ?
yes and no, it all depends, what strain, indoors or outdoors , what techniques you use, size of pots, hydro or soil. type of light and how many watts, tent size, growing skills.. etc. thats a loaded question dude. you should really read more lol.
if you are limited with space you should be able to get large yeilds with small plants no problem, by using a scrog, LST, strong lights, high yield strain, main- lining, great feed schedule, decent pot size and LOVE :P

Lol so its possible on a $1000 budget and while working a 9-5 ?
Yes, ive seen first time growers yield close to a pound off one plant... but they were ONLY growing ONE plant, using all there light with 1 plant.also they did a shit load of research before starting
If you want pounds, you are going to need ALOT of light, thats not cheap
:wall:
The cheapest(free really) light source is the sun, and thats were you can get pounds per plant lol
That comes with its own problems though, like theft, bugs, animals, police, cloudy days etc... but you like in cali. Its never cloudy here haha rarely

Then you would need to fill each of them with a 600w and keep them all below 80f, they WILL need some type of mini-split configuration. And 6 600w ballast/bulb/hood/vent/clip fans/soil ect wayyyy past 1000$ lol. Im not sure what your looking for but if you want a pound per plant, you need 600-1000w per plant and a big room with each plant in its own 3x3/4x4 area. it WILL be a challenge for a new grower even if he was job-less. Actually, its all you will be doing after work and before bed every day.

My first grow I had 7000 to spend. I was so set of. Going big and doing 200 plants. So method. I bought 2 1000 watts.
Actually you can search my first grow journal and see my stuff and alot of my problems.
I had ducting and inline fans. I think I bought a controller for the fan that worked by the temperature.

It never mattered because the lights were so fucking hot.
You want yield you need light. Light brings heat. Heat kills plants. Stresses them and fucks up yield. $$$

Get 600 watts and real arch scrog.
