Taking photos under HPS?

I'd like to take some nice pictures indoors. Total wattage is 1800 HPS. We have a Canon SX110, with 9 MP and 10 X Optical zoom. It takes great pics in general, but I can't figure out a good setting for the HPS grow room. Can anyone make any suggestions? The camera shoots in auto mode, with settings fro indoors, landscape, nighttime, etc. But you can also set it manually with ISO, etc. I figure that would be the way to go, but I have had no luck yet.

im a photogrpaher and the only real way to get a perfect shop with that lighting is to pic a white spot in the grow room point your camera to it and make it your right balance, every camera is diff and some u dont have that option, then u can take a photo with the lights on.

Ok, was hoping someone might know a setting that works well. Is a higher or lower ISO better?

the higher the ISO the less quailty the image, but the more light sensitve it is, high iso is good for low light sitations or action photgrpahy, lower ISO is good for outdoor shooting and bright lights
