taking indoor clones outdoor (australia)

i got given some nice cuts and was wondering when abouts you'd ideally take them outdoor in australia, i'd want them to continue veg as long as they could as opposed to flowering straight away and reveg later after being on 18 hours inside. i'm in brisbane region, I'd be guerilla style so wouldnt want to waste time and effort carrying plants that are going to flower and/or reveg as soon as they go in the ground. indoor space is limited so cant grow them all that big and i want to have haze seedlings in the space prepping for outside at the same time. i feel like a jump in light from 18 hours to 13.5 hours would make them turn? not something i want them to do in the middle of the season. ive only been using lights for a couple years and dont have a great deal of experience growing cuts. what ive deducted so far is keep them on 14/10 or 15/9 until about november when its about 13/11 oustide with slight room for an increase and everyone should continue to do their thing and finish like normal photos? the longest day here is '13 hours 48 minutes' end of december.
TIA for any and all info and advice.
