Taking bud

Ey does anyone know if its okey to take some bud when a marijuana plant is flowering for a while and when its had weed on it? Or would it be bad for the plant?

I check the trichomes close to the end and take sample buds. Usually the tops ones are done before the bottom ones. :mrgreen::peace:

Hmm im still a while away from being done because they just started to flower but i was just wondering if later on i could take some herb from it to try it out :P Man i hope my plants will atleast have a little bit on it before the frost comes, im in canada.

I see, I thought you meant close to the end like the last week. It should be done early October if in southern Ontario. :mrgreen::peace:

I think i'm two to four weeks to being done from what i'm seeing, should I just wait, or should I pull buds that appear to be done? I'm leaning towards what jollygreengiant said, and just waiting because i've come this far.. but I want to make sure I get the most out of each bud.. I've read there's 5-7 days to harvest once it's done.. si that the whole plant, or does that go for each individual bud?

if you have a microscope, check the trichomes..if some buds appear to be done you could cut & dry those and leave the buds that arent quite ready, but check the trichomes to be sure.bongsmilie

What the green giant said. Tops always mature first. You can also use a water cure to speed up curing time.
