The plant is four weeks old. Its in a homemade soil mix of Miracle-Gro Organic Choice potting mix along with wood chunks and banana peals.
I use Water-soluble nutrients that have 20-10-20 value. I mix 1/2 Tsp into a Half Gal watering jug. I water every day.
Its under a 42watt CFL 24-7. Its my first grow help me out? what can I do?

Wood chunks? Miracle Grow organic I use, it's not the best but cheap. Miracle Grow organic already has lots of wood products in it, I would transplant into some better soil, foxfarm original, it works well. Local hydro shops have 30lb bags for like 25 bucks in my area. I have had problems with miracle grow organic potting soil, it doesn't hold moisture well and drys out fast. Check ph of soil too. Have you checked out the sticky's, they list nutrient deficiencies! Good luck, plant looks pretty healthy.

Plant might even come out of it on its own...it's still got time. I have ignored little things like that and they disappear after awhile, or they come back and fuck up your grow. Just kidding. they'll be fine. Dunkin got it right tho, soil needs to be better, it would be a happier lady.

Ya i dont have a PH tester. I forgot to add that only half is M-G potting soil the other half is fresh nor-cal soil. The wood chunks are just that chunks of wood from fallen trees that I got with the soil I dug up. I just got some sea bird guano 2-8-2. should I add some? will it help or burn?

Always add anything gingerly, not too much. Maybe mix the guano with some water to make a slurry. The plant looks ok, mine always look like that at one time or another, they usually grow out of it. I usually don't add any nutrients until the plant has three to four sets of new growth. They don't need too much until they get big, especially potted plants. Hope this helped.

Give it guano when it flowers. I would let it sleep for at least 4 hours a day, but it looks healthy.

Looks to me like a little nute burn, i wouldnt worry about it to much. just make sure your ph is good next time you water, and work your way up before you go full strength. and dont know if you need to be watering everyday really, get a moisture meter :D
