T5 vs MH

so i was originally gonna get a 250 watt mh but after some riu advise i bought a four bulb t5. its just for my 4 mothers...im still a little skeptical about the t5, what do u guys think? do u think i could put some newly rooted clones under it too? just to veg for a week or so

T5 are great for all of the above. Not a lot of heat and a lot of lumens per watt.

yeah... t5's rock for mother plants and clones... i think that is what they are made for imho.. you can also use them to flower and all too, but they will work killer for what you want to use it for..i vegged five plants under my t5 and loved the results.. i now have the bloom bulbs in it and am using it along with my hps and i think they work great together...

I use three t5s,one on my mothers and two to veg with,you need to keep your mothers trimmed and low to the ground.I try to keep them under 3 feet.As long as you keep them short they work great.The replacement bulbs are high as hell,allmost 20 bucks a piece...peace
