T5 fluorescent?? wtf

i ran across this new fluorescent some t5 shit and i was wondering if any one has used it before it claims it is just as good as any of the others the only difference i saw was it put out 29% less uv so if anyone has used em hit me up and if ne one wants to swap some strains ive got some GOOD shit from g13, big bud and euphoria. unseen or matched by ne thing ive ever smoked! :joint:

My t-5's are killer, i am getting great results and im happy. if you read high times there is a short write up about them in the question section. As far as trading, sorry,,,i only grow habaneros. These pics are at 2 weeks from seed (low plants) the bigs are at 3 weeks flower, with 2 weeks veg. i will post new pics later

What are you growing them in on the second pic, looks like dog food lol.

t5s def look like they are good. I wish i would have bought them instead of a 400watt MH light. I would say t5s would be the best to grow your clones/mothers. And from the few setups ive seen where they use t5s to flower, i was still impressed. But I would say hps still reigns supreme for flowering.

yeah i havent seen enough plants that were flowerwed with t5s. your plants look nice. like i said i wish i had t5s, but i need more evidence before i make a judgement on flowering with them. you have any budshots right before harvest?

i have a 4ft T-5..wit 4 bulbs.. its for my mothers n clones..i like it.. works good!

victor- how many plants are under 1 of those, how many bulbs are in your light, how old are they and is it alot less electricity then hps that would be the main reason i would switch!

im in the uk and am intending to set up a seperate grow/clone room form the flowering room these t-5's is that the hood part of the light ot the light itself ? and am i right in thinking that they are flurecent bulbs ? and cheaper to run than the hps i am currently using for flowering ? :?

twenty plants 8 tube 55 watts per bulb. 440 watts, light equivalent to a 600 watt hid, less heat issue and yo get an extrea foot of plant height cause the light take less space. No seperete ballast. Mix red and blue spectrum, same ballast. My lights come on at 9:00 pm. I can take a picture then. VV

I have two T-5 one is mixed spectrum, and the other is red. Mine are 8 bulb each for 325.00 u.s.
