i have a dr 80 tent with a 250w hps. i also just added 4 four foot t5's running vertically up each corner. they help light that sucker up 100% from top to bottom. it is so bright in there i am really happy with them.

total watts in the tent = 458w
That is a great use of T5s for side lighting! +rep
You should see if you can get them closer until the plant fills out.

right now they are centered directly under the 250w hps. as these plants get taller, and more plants are brought into the tent everything will naturally get pushed out to the edges towards the t5.

i am really loving them so far. that tent is lit up so bright. the temps in there are about 88 degrees right now because of them and the light with magnetic ballast inside the tent... as soon as i have my real deal cool tube in there hopefully temps will drop to around 80

HIDs as in HPS cause stretching... so they could be perceived to 'finish' faster.

I don't know... that still doesn't speak much to the quality of the buds.

T5's are simply more efficient. They produce more usable light while drawing less power. T8s are better than T12s, though.

Unlike HID, fluorescent lights hit a peak luminous output around 50 watts.

While a 200W CFL only puts out 50 lumens/watt... a CFL bulb under 60 watts can hit up to 70 or so lumens/watt.

Tube fluorescents can get up to 100 lumens/watt. This is comparable with HID when under 400 watts(400 watt HPS is around 100 lumens/watt, eg. 40k lumens @ 400 watts). The higher the wattage of the HID, the more efficient it gets, up to 140 lumens/watt for 1000W lamps.

this was about ozone too right? I run a titan ozone generator in my room. I also have a charcoal filter. In full flower the charcoal filter is not up to par, for the fan or the space. HTGs 6 in for 90$ I think?. Anyway, I got a good deal on an ozone generator.

Ozone is awesome. BUT, be careful! I took the lid off mine and stuck it in my exhaust duct that filter into the room. I cycle it 15 min every 45 min, or just leave it on.

I only run it when I am not home or at least when I am not in the room. The first few times I tried it with me in their.

I had read the effects but dismissed them. WRONG! lol. I got the dry throat the chest pains and so on. Something else i was given some messed up dreams I thought were real, lol.

SO ozone is good if you trun off in the room.

It Kills all smell in a matter of seconds. Get the smallest UV model you can find. DO NOT get a corona discharge model. Corona discharge creates nitric acid which will kill the plants fast.

As for lights, I run a 400 watt mh/hps and have either another 400 for veg or 250 and I amgonna use a t5 for mothers as I only flower 3 trees from now on.;)
