t5 bad boy

whats up peps just want to know if any of you guys have used the t5 bad boys for veg or flower looking to get the 4ft 12 lamp about 3 bills it said it kicks the 1000 watts ass . so was wanting to ask you real grower you unbyest oppinon:leaf:

I just started flowering today using two 4-bulb 2' T5 light fixtures. 6500k and 3000k (heavy on the 3000k), with two 45 w 5600k CFLs and two 45w 2700k CFLs.

Honestly, they are not as bright as id like, but thats what i use. I can also have them practially touching the plants with no worry of burning them.

I have used a t5 setup for clones in the past, and yes, it works great. But, my 430 watt hps that I use now for vegging does circles over any t5. I also run a 1000 watt hps hortilux for flowering, and its a true high performance light that puts out over 145000 lumens. Whoever told you that a t5 setup will kick ass over a 1000 watter has been sampling way too much product. :lol:

thats what the add for the t5 " bad boy" said i dont know if the peps from the company samples product bro ...lol but i hear ya i just dont want to burn down my pad useing that 1000 watt hot light my luck it would be cause i smoked to muck product lol
