A little more info to those that may be interested in buying this light would be helpful. Did you actually buy and use one? Did it fail or burn up?

Why not buy directly from sunlight supply co?...

You get what you pay for when you buy from third parties!

For good inexpensive T5 lighting go to Aquatraders.com
be carefull with the units with the remote ballasts, a lot of reports of them frying. Possibly because they are cheaply made ballasts or because the ballast should not be left on when its not plugged into the Light. A number of Aquariusts have done ballast upgrades on the remote ballast for better lighting and the breakdown issues.

^^^ I have been running both of their different T5 HO fixtures with no issues. The issue was mainly with their MH ballasts and that was over 5 years ago, since then they have really come a along way in quality. If I do have an issue they have always taken care of it. I was in the aquarium reef hobby for a long time and that is how I know about Aquatraders and Odyssea lighting.

the reports I saw were specfiically for the fluoros. They gutted the ballasts and installed their own after the burnout. Otherwise I would have bought a bunch of their lights. They are very reasonable in price and easy to hang sideways. Hopefully they have gotten better
